Republic of Aurelia- Turtle Martial Arts School

Aaron and Nigel were sparring in the training grounds, wearing their weighted clothing. Their movements were quick blurs as they threw punches, kicks, and chops at high speeds at one another. The rest of the students were there training and sparring as well but Master Ryoji was watching them intently, they were two of his top students and were heading off the World Martial Arts Tournament in a few days.

World Tournament Island

Planes from all around the world were landing, some bringing spectators and fans, others bringing the fighters who would take place in the tournament itself.

Aaron and Nigel stepped off the plane that brought them from Aurelia, Muten Ryoji close behind them.

"I can't wait to get into the ring." Aaron smiled, it being his first time.

Nigel looked at him. "Yeah it's a thrill, but we need to get settled in first. Then we can get some work outs in."

"No." Muten Ryoji said. "No work outs today, I want you both fresh for the tournament. Meditation only."

"Yes Master Ryoji." They said in unison.

A small group of people headed to the tournament by foot. Rei walked infront with the other pupils, wearing a determined look on his face.

Soleo was walking with those from the Ryuzoku School into the tournament grounds.

Rei looked around as they entered the grounds.

Soleo looked over and grunted seeing Muten Ryoji and the Turtle School fighters.

Rei looked up at his master and then the Turtle School Fighters. "Are they...?"

"Some of your hardest competition here." Soleo said. "The Turtle School from Aurelia."

"So that is Muten Ryoji and his students.", Rei nodded. "They look well trained."

"They are." Soleo said. "When I was young I fought Muten in many tournaments, he is one of the best so expect his students to rival our own."

"I am not worried.", Rei said.

"Good." Soleo said. "Now come, we need to get you registered."

"Yes, master.", Rei nodded and went with him to the registration.

Soleo took him to the registration center as Aaron and Nigel walked up with Muten.

Rei looked over at Aaron and Nigel.

Nigel was looking ahead towards the desk but Aaron looked over at Rei and nodded.

Rei looked at him and gave him a short nod before looking forward.

Aaron stepped forward to the desk. "Aaron Marsden, Turtle School." He said registering.

"Rei Mendora, Ryuzoku School, he said and registered.

"Nigel Fordham, Turtle School." Nigel said registering.

Rei stood aside waiting for the others to register.

Once everyone had been registered the announcer stepped up onto the stage. "Alright everyone! Welcome to the 45th World Martial Arts Tournament! Now that registration is finished we can move you all into the common area where you can relax and await your next fight, also there is your rooms where you will be staying! Preliminaries begin tonight at 8PM so be ready!"

Kai looked around at the other fighters and smiled "Not much competition here. Should be a piece of cake to win this thing."

Nigel and Aaron headed into the Common Area with the other fighters.

Soleo and Muten watched from the back and headed into the Guest Area.
