"Gr-eat!" Alex said disappointed, "Likely get a lecture and scolding!"

"I don't know" Ted shrugged "what happens between you two is none of my concern."

"Oh really?" Alex said cocking an eye at him, "So if I was battered and bruised you wouldn't show me any sympathy? Oh, Ted... I thought we were friends?"

"Your father would never do that to you" Ted said "so if you came to be battered and bruised I'd do what he would want me to and send some men to find the guy that did and ensure he never harmed another woman."

"Ah see..." Alex said perking up, "You'd come to my defence. That's alright, I feel better now."

"Of course" Ted said "any of us would, well anyone that knows of your relationship to Mr. Gilbert, your true relationship I mean."

"Hey... don't you go saying that you'd only defend me for my father. Otherwise, that kiss we had a long time ago, can be the only one you'll ever receive..." Alex said crossing her arms.

"That was along time ago" Ted said "at a New Year's Eve party and I believe you were drunk."

"Barely half," Alex teased, and then let out a big sigh, "Oh, let me be pissed off then. I'm trying to find something else to focus on but its not working."

"Well, your father is concerned about an event" Ted said "He's asked me to look out for anything out of the ordinary or strange. Have you seen anything?"

"Uh, if you call the parking inspector magically making my fine appear on my car when I was only twenty metres from it, strange, than yes?"

"No, that's normal" Ted said

SHIELD Ian is at the Cura base with the others, they're crossing dimensions caused unnatrual phenomenom throught the country and President Gilbert is trying to figure out what caused them (and possibly exploit it as a weapon). He has sent word to all his high ranking employees to keep an eye out for anything unusuall occuring (such as there being two of Ian and Jason when neither has a twin or a giant werewolf walking around).

"And the woman that cracked onto me the other day thinking I'm truly gay, that was weird but my own fault. I am a master of pretending, its too believable. There's not much that I won't say no to..."

She looked around the room, "So uh... no...seen nothing of your rating of strange."

"I wonder what my other self is like", Jason said.

James was relaxing with Carol.

Barin was petting Blizzard.

"I bet he's just as crazy as you are" Anthony said "probably even has arguments with his other selves."


"Right well, I was about to go get something to eat, care to join me" Ted smiled

"There you go, something highly strange... you asked me to lunch," Alex teased.

"Right, are you going to join me or not?"

"Of course I am," Alex said hopping up.

"Got anywhere particular you'd like to go" Ted asked heading out with her

"Just somewhere that has some life to it," Alex replied.

"Which means a loud club" Ted sighed

"Um... no..." Alex corrected him, "Just some place that doesn't seem like Grandma's cottage."
