"Alex wouldn't like that," April replied.

Izzy pulled from Guy and gave her a look, "Um, until the matter is sorted out, don't you think its best to keep clear from anyone that hates the professor as much as you. They'll be asking her questions as well. She's also highly angry with him as well. It's not the first time he failed you, last time you and Alex were really peeved."

"She wouldn't... besides, she doesn't know anyone that can do that, she isn't a big fan of friends."
"Probably isn't her friend."
"Alright, you know something Izzy... what is it?"
"You know how I've been getting thoughts, dreams... copying your powers. Alex isn't telling you something."

April stood up and crossed her arms, "Well what is it?"
"I don't know. It was just a feeling I got."
"You're basing this on a feeling?! IZZY!"

"look, I'll find a way to sort this out, but please don't point the finger at Alex, she's a good friend."

April headed out and izzy turned to guy, "thanks sweetie, I'm just so certain that something isn't right with that Alexandra girl."

"I bet" Penny smiled


"I relied on my gut alot as a cop." Guy said "Never lead me wrong."

"Same goes for you", Lucy smiled taking a piece.

"So, what exactly do you work with?", Jason asked.

"Hmm, might have to end it sooner" Ian smiled taking off his tie "but I tink I'm wearing more than you."


"I work with computers" Penny smiled

"You might be", Lucy smiled at him.

"Cool. Programming?"

Ian smiled back looking her over taking another piece. "Check in five, checkmate in six."

"Yeah" Penny said sipping her drink

"You're pretty confident in yourself"; Lucy said.

"Alright"; Jason nodded taking a drink.

"I just beat a grand master earlier today" Ian smiled

"Oh really?", Lucy said making a move.

"Yep" Ian said taking another one of her pieces

Lucy removed her stocking slowly.

Ian smiled watching her. "What is that four now?"

"But the tie of friendship isn't easy to break. I just hope that she knows she has a pretty good one right here," Izzy pouted, "Luckily I was able to hug her this time without turning the room to ice. A joke darling."

"Just means you're getting a handle on your powers" Guy smiled kissign her

"My powers? I don't have this type of power, its the babies that are doing it all. The only thing that Mummy-dear has is her intelligence and ability to make it out alive scrape after scrape."

"Well whatever you're managing to control it" Guy smiled

"Or maybe the kids are asleep," Izzy giggled.

"It's possible" Guy smiled

Izzy placed her hands around his neck and kissed him, "Where were we? Checking those messages, weren't we? Wanna try your folks again?"

"Maybe tomorrow" Guy said

"Okay sweetie," Izzy said scanning her messages, "Aww... two from my cousins. That's lovely. Alright, I'll turn it off now. We need to think about dinner, anything in mind?"
