James smirked looking her over walking over pulling his boxers down. "God damn..."

Ashleigh woke up bright and early heading to the stables on her farm, with some carrots she grabbed when she was having breakfast. She pulled open the barn door forcing it through the snow piled against it and looked into the barn.

"Hey Starlight, sleep well girl? Here munch away on these," she fed the carrots to the mare, sighing, "I'm a superhero that spends her free time shovelling your manure and cleaning up after you all the time. I'm glad I don't have time for babies or boyfriends, you're enough work."

The horse gave her a snort and she laughed, gearing her up to ride, walking her outside by the reins. The snow wasn't thick and the sunshine made it a bit warm, in which she was very grateful. She was missing her dear horse while she was away leaving the farm in the care of a man that ran a smaller farm down the road. He always came over to check on her.

"Better get trekking before Mr. Rowlands comes over for his usual eggs and bacon, don't we?" she rubbed the neck mounting herself up, taking off in a soft canter.

Jannelle smiled looking him over "Going to join me or just stand here and watch?"

James grinned at her and got on top of her kissing her taking his hand along her sid.

The trees grew dense around them, and Ashleigh now knew that heading home wasn't an option, just getting to safety was. Then a streak of lightning flashed across the sky, and Starlight reared, Ashleigh doing her best job at calming him down.

"Come on girl. You're okay, you don't want to be out in this storm. We'll try heading to a neighbours farm," she said smoothing her neck, but it was all the horse could take. As thunder rumbled loudly, she reared sending Ashleigh flying. Bracing for a hard impact, Ashleigh closed her eyes but noticed that something wasn't good, she was still attached to Starlight, her foot caught up in the stirrup. She tried to lean forward to release herself so she could fall out, but Starlight took off into a full gallop, dragging her rider behind her.

After a good run through the woods, leaving cuts to Ashleigh's face and hands, her foot slipped from the stirrup and she fell to the ground. Starlight continued her frightened run, leaving her in the dark on some kind of hard surface that wasn't snow. She raised her hands seeing blood and grazes.

Over the sound of the wind, thunder and rain came a most unusual roar and rumble. Ashleigh tried to get up and see what the sound belonged to, but found she was too hurt to move, and then saw a bright light coming around a corner quickly, belonging to a massive truck. She screamed raising her hands to her face, knowing there was nothing that could save her from being hit.

A massive force of energy shot out of Ashleigh, sending the truck backwards down the road crashing into trees. The trees surrounding her, fell over like dominoes with a loud bang and she screamed covering her ears. The driver scrambled from the vehicle managing to make it away from the truck before it exploded, sending a huge black cloud into the sky.

Talbot was alerted to a massive surge of energy by his techs in the labs and he went down to see what was going on.



"Sir." A US Marine Lieutenant said walking into Frank's office at the Amphibious Base.
"Yes Lieutenant?" Frank asked.
"General Miller sir, we just detected a massive surge of metahuman power outside the city in the rural areas."
Frank stood up. "Get a team ready to go, and contact Delta we may need him."
"Aye sir." The Lieutenant said walking out with Frank who was heading to the Special Corps Command Center in the underground facility under the regular base.

One of the technicians turned to see Talbot head into the lab.

"Oh sir... the computers have just picked up on a rather strange surge of energy coming from..." he began, "From Riverglen, but that's a small little farming town. It doesn't have a power station that could cause an explosion of that magnitude. They get their power from the nearby Logan City. 20kms away."

Talbot nodded. "Interesting..." He said. "Have you analyzed the type of energy yet?"

"The computers are at odds end to work out what it is and what's caused it, but I do have a thought. We could get a satellite image of the area and see what in the vicinity that could had caused the explosion of enegy?"

"Then do it." Talbot said.

The technician sat himself down in the chair and clicked away, then scrolled with the mouse.

"Many farms, cows do not pass enough gas of that magnitude. Here's the explosion site, there's a fire coming from a truck. Two people, a man running away and a young girl."

"And the United States Marine Special Corps." Talbot said pointing at the edge of the screen as a few helicopters flew towards the site.

"Yes... yes. I imagine they would be interested. It would be better if we could rewind the satellite images and get an idea of what occurred before?"

"If the satellite was in the area then yes."

Keith got the message from the Gen. Miller as he left James' apartment, not finding him there.

Jannelle kissed him feeling his chest

James kissed Jannelle taking his hand to her breast massaging it as he squeezed her ass.

Jannelle moaned softly

James kissed her taking his hand between her legs rubbing her folds.

Jannelle squirmed a bit moaning

James smirked working his fingers into her kissing her.

"Alright, I'll try and work on it, sir. Okay, this is footage ten minutes ago," he said displaying the image. It was a still infra-red image only showing a red glow coming from a small object, the young girl.

"What do you make of that sir? The source of the energy is coming from something the girl is using," he said.

"No, it is the girl." Talbot said. "Well let the Military bring her in for us."

Three MV-22 Osprey's landed in the site where Ashleigh was and several Special Operations Group (SOG) Marines disembarked heading towards her, in full combat gear.

Ashleigh saw the marines approach her from a wider space down the road and she climbed to her feet in panic. She wanted to go to them and explain that she didn't mean to do it, but while she couldn't work out what had happened, she didn't have a good enough story to explain what did go on. If she told them the truth they'd treat her like an alien and question her. And they'd never buy the sweet and innocent look and story.

So she turned to run from them, taking off into the cover of the woods, where she could hide easily, but the snow was thick. Her legs also did not have the strength to climb everytime she sank into the snow, and as she went to take off running again, her knees buckled and she fell against the snow, hitting her face on the hard cold snow.

The Marines chased after her, having no where near as much trouble traverseing the snow.

A hand reached out from behind a tree and grabbed Ashleigh up, it was a Marine and he looked at her. "Don't struggle."
