James nodded sitting down waiting to head out to dinner with Jannelle.

William nodded. "Oh yeah, we're a shoo in for the postseason."

"I'll have to come to a few games" Jill smiled

"I'll see you next month Rodger" Jannelle said coming out. She looked over at James and smiled

"Maybe next season, I'm done for the year." William sighed.

James smiled getting up and walking over. "Hey."

"I'd feel the same if I lost my family." Jill said

"Let me grab my jacket and we can go" Jannelle said "Lacy, you'll lock everything up before you go?"
"Sure thing. You two have fun."
Jannelle smiled grabbing her jacket "We will."

James smiled opening the door for Jannelle. "Yeah we will."

William nodded downing his beer.

"You know... when everyone in the world runs away because they're scared, you'll always find that one person who will stick around because they're stubborn and brave. Well, that person is me," Ashleigh said emerging from the shadows.

She still had her sore arm, but tried to ignore it as she held a long steel pole as a weapon.

Syn stood in the middle of the street in Haven City Square downtown, surrounded by HCPD Officers and SWAT Teams who were aiming at him and observing him as he just stood motionless, as if he was waiting for something.

Rhodes walked into the room where Swift and Stark were. "You too seen the news?" He said turning the TV on showing the scene with Syn.

That's directed at Syn, sorry I often forget to emphasise.

Arthur was looking at a TV in the bank that showed Syn moving through. "Oh."

Hunter approached Arthur from behind and had a look at the report.

"Damn... whenever we think we've got it good and quiet, something always tends to happen. Hope there's someone that can take him down, cause we all know what the police are like in these parts."

Blood Goblin still laid against the wall.

Syn looked down at Ashleigh, his green eyes looking her over sizing her up. He still stood before a missile flew in and hit him in the shoulder exploding. Syn looked at his shoulder then forward before it swept it's arm down at Ashleigh and then kicked a police car sending it flying as well as sending several Police and SWAT Officers into the air.

"Damn it! Who jumped the gun?!" General Miller barked seeing the explosion and Syn's reaction.
"The National Guard units sir." A Marine Colonel said. "They moved in before given the orders."
"Well get the gunships in there we have to contain that thing."

Arthur left him there for the police and headed out.

The cops got Blood Goblin taking him to Ashcliff.

Syn was wreaking havoc the Police Force was quickly destroyed and now the US Marines "Special Corps" were trying to fight off Syn.

(I'll hold off till there's more people, I guess)

Frostbite threw a chunk of hard ice at The Shadow and took Penumbra's hand, pulling her onto an ice slide and escaping.

Intangible stepped forward to attack. As she did, she made eye contact with Frostbite, remembered her favor and stopped. She sighed and watched them get away.

"Little cowardly bitches." The Shadow said, unaffected by the ice as he just phased and let it pass through him. He put his hand to his ear then looked at Intangible. "You're a hero right? We need to get back to the city...now."

"What's going on?" Intangible asked, creating a disk under her feet.
