OH SHIT-- Wait, in what sense is he back?

He's the main antagonist of Season 3 of Rebels.

Just an update- went to er yesterday and had a cheat X-ray, bloods taken and heart checked, they're all really good and I'm pretty healthy and strong. It still looks like ms but I need the MRI results which I should be hearing back about really soon

I saw it. Just thought it was meh. Not awful, but not particularly good, either. Fun, but structurally, as a movie, it was... well... a hot mess. If I didn't prioritize fun over structure, I'd have hated it.

I was holding out hope Scott Eastwood was Dick Grayson, but alas he was not.

Yeah, I think it was a mess structure wise as well. I didn't find myself enjoying it as much as I would have hoped because of that. The characters are fun and have a good amount of chemistry, but the shitty editing took me out of it all of the time and the third act was honestly a bore.

Yeah. The third act could've been much stronger. I believe the movie was edited down severely, though I can't say if it not being so would have fixed my problems with it or not. I'm also of the minority that honestly didn't find Harley funny in it. Deadshot was awesome. Harley just... kind of annoyed me... and would someone like to tell me why she was allowed to have a cell phone? Or where she got it in the first place?

She got the cellphone from the prison guard that the Joker visited at that night club. He slips it to her before they're about to board the helicopter. I'm surprised so many people didn't notice that. Did we get a different edit or something?

Harley was all right. Most of the memorable scenes were in the trailer, so I don't think they had quite the impact they probably should have.

That... kind of paints Flag and his boys as idiots, then. Which... is honestly less preferable, really XD
But yeah. I just didn't care for her. She was WAY better in Assault on Arkham.

So to wrap it up- should I drag my poor ill body to see this one or would there be other movies to wait for?

Generally speaking the consensus on it is mixed. Critically, audience-wise, no one seems to agree on it. What I'm gathering from those who've mentioned it here is 1 "Good," 1 "Okay," 1 "Meh, skip it." Feel free to do with that information what you please.

Yeah I gave it a 5.5/10 myself. It was just a meh action flick with comic book characters to me. I chalk it up there with the Thor flicks, Iron Man 2/3, and BvS.

I gave it a C-, but based on my scale that'd numerically come out to about a 5, basically, rather than traditional grading. So yeah. Nothing special. And the writing and film student in me would have been convulsing if it hadn't been for the names of comic book characters scattered throughout.

Yeah, I'd probably give it the same score as well, it's straight down the middle for me. It wasn't bad enough to make me hate it, it wasn't good enough to make me love it. The characters are fun and they're played by good actors who seem to be enjoying themselves which in itself is fun. It's a choppy mess, though, which is my main beef with it. I could make a drinking game to every out of place, re-shot scene that stands out with no importance to the plot nor the characters and their development in general.

By the way, I'm all for reving up to do some more rpging. Things are calm over here and I don't feel like my back's got a truck load of bricks ontop.

That drinking game would make you keel over of alcohol poisoning.

I likewise think my free time is going to start coming along in greater amounts, soonish, so I'd be down to do some more RPing soon, myself.

It does seem that it's not one I should be too excited over and definitely not one to drag myself to in a hurry lol. Many friends have also said they wanted it to be excellent but it didn't meet that level. It sat at not too bad for them.

I'll hold out for doctor strange hopefully that one will be good. Besides I'm more a fan of marvel lol

Yeah, I think if you had high expectations for the characters performances, you'll probably be satisfied somewhat. It depends on how hyped up you are before seeing it.


I'm crossing my fingers for Dr. Strange. I like what I've seen but I need more. Like seeing the movie.
