"You and I can do that while Inque and Vidar drop the sewer gator back at the transport" Nightstalker said heading backup.


The car took them to the airport where Delilah's jet waited.

Derek gets onboard with the help of Delilah's men and waits for them to lift off once he's seated.

"Right." Centurion said heading up.

"Will your protege be following us all the way?" Delilah asked


"Gotham still smells the same" ightstalker said "stench of crime is everywhere."

"And fear." Centurion said checking his weapon.

"I miss that smell" Nightstalker said

Inque looks down at Croc and coils an arm around him, dragging him off for the chat with their "boss."

"So where'd they find you?" Vidar asked heading back with Inque.

"Impersonating a drug lord o I could make a few...busts."

"No. But I'd suggest landing and searching for any devices that might allow us to be tracked on the way to wherever we're going.", Derek says.

"If it is who I suspect then he won't need to track us" Delilah said offering him a glass of wine


"Well, that doesn't sound that bad" Vidar said

"Right.", Derek says taking the glass and downing the wine in one swig before putting the glass down.

"Nervous? You shouldn't be"

"Not at all.", Derek says and leans back. "I'm just anticipating."

"Guess we just wait on the other two" Vidar said sitting back on their jet.


"If this goes south, subdue him quickly. We don't want to get in a fight with this guy" Nightstalker said spotting the strongman


"I can promise you that you will be feeling better than before sooner than you expect" Delilah smiled.

"We'll see about that.", Derek says and waits patiently for them to arrive at their destination.

Centurion nodded. "Got that right." He said moving with Nightstalker.

Batman was already headed where they were.

a man in scrubs approached after they landed. "We're ready for him mistress."
"Excellent" Delilah smiled helping Derek off "Take good care of him."
"Of course."
Delilah left Derek with two of her men "See you soon my dark knight."


Stalker barely got out a greeting before he was sent flying back by the Strongman.
"Why can't you costumed freaks leave me alone."

Derek says nothing as he gets sent away to begin whatever they had planned for him.

Batman stood around the corner waiting for Deliah.

Derek was taken back to the operating room and put under for the procedure


"I would say welcome back but I know that's not why you're here" Delilah said "don't worry about your friend, he is safe here. You have my word."

"Your word doesn't mean much anymore." Batman said. "What's your endgame here Deliah?"

"I am hurt. When have I ever broken my word? As for endgame, I have none. This is just what it appears to be. Now, if you wish to keep your head I suggest you leave."

"I'm not leaving without Derek." Batman said. "And you've said that to me before but my head is still squarely on my shoulders."

"Derek came here willingly, he wants to be here and by now they have already begun so it is too late to convince him to leave with you. You can stay and talk to him when they are finished but I can not guarantee others won't try to kill you."
