DC Universe- 2100

"Ignore me," she says. "Where is it?"

"The...", he sighs. "The abandoned building next to Mr. Snow's Ice Cream Emporium."

"Happy hunting," Kasumi says, disappearing on the spot.

Talon returned to his base making a call. He always prided himself on being well prepared for anything thrown his way but Servo and his boss had him at a loss. There were enough criminals and gangs in Gotham without Servo and his thugs. On top of that he was still fighting an uphill battle with some of the people he thought were looking out for his families business. Then there was his little identity crisis but hopefully he'd be able to fix most of that soon.

Batman heads off to the other location.

Derek appears at his office and access his computer, bringing up his development lab page. He narrows his eyes. Irregular shipments and covered up experiments.

Kasumi arrives at Frost's old base and looks around. The cold didn't really bother her. She'd trained herself to resist extreme temperatures.


While everyone else was out on big capers or just relaxing, Angelica was out as Bat-Girl, fighting off a few minor crimes. Muggings, gang fights, car thefts, and so-on.

A couple of men dressed in large coats and winter gear pushed a large cart through a swinging door to the left, not aware of Kasumi as they moved through another door.

Edward stood staring at the wall of his basement. Spread out before him were the family trees of the Bat family-Wayne, Grayson, Todd, Drake, Brown, Kane, Cain, Gordon. "Let's see which family to go after first? So many choices and so little time." He looked over at his companion and grinned a bit. "What do you think my friend? Does the brain in that head of your as sharp as I've hear or did you stuff it full of straw?"
"Please leave the jokes to the Joker. If it were me I'd take advantage of all these fools you've convinced to work for you and go after them all."
"But where's the fun in that" Edward smiled "My plan is already in motion. Those that know their family history will be cowering in their basements or looking over their shoulders, jumping at shadows and wondering who or what is coming for them."
"And what about those that don't know they are descended from heroes?"
"They'll be the easiest to capture" Edward smirked "as a matter of fact I believe our first collection will be arriving soon."

Vidar looked through his scope at the men gathered in the room. He had been strategically picking off various members of the major crime families and gangs of Gotham. He took a breath letting it out as he took his first shot. He took his second as the men in the room started scrambling for cover. He took down a few more before moving to try and take down the rest of them. If he was successful tonight there would only be one target left and then his loved ones could finally rest at peace and he could move on.

Kasumi lands silently behind the two and follows them inside before leaping and pulling herself up onto a light fixture in the room, surveying the area. "This begging to be noticed, Frost," Kasumi says to herself. "You aren't a buffoon. You had to know that this was just screaming for Batman to show up and trample you...but, then again, maybe that's what you wanted."

There's a room further off inside the storage room where the windows have been iced. It's impossible to see through the window but the shadow or figure of a person is visible enough to make out.

Kasumi observes from across the room, being able to see the shadow even at this distance. She looks around then leaps to the floor before hiding in a grate on the floor and getting closer to the room to get a listen. She couldn't make out who it was visually, but she should be able to hear them.

"...yes, I am certain of it. No bat could resist such a target, even when it is that obvious." It's Frost. Pause. "No. That won't be a problem either. Infact, I would much more prefer if it came to that... Yes, I understand. You just remember your part of the deal.".

Kasumi knew Frost typically wasn't the type to work with others. But this certainly seemed convincing enough. Thus, she sneaks out from the grate and goes to do a little looking around in the base, making sure not to be seen.

The door to the office opened up and Dr. Frost stepped outside without his suit on, instead wearing normal clothes and a lab coat, the cold atmosphere apparently enough to accomodate his condition. "Move along now. We can't have our customers waiting."

Kasumi crawls around, clung to the ceiling using a combination of gear and her elite training. She stalks along, silently following so she can figure out what form of big reveal is on the way.

A hiss can be heard from behind Kasumi. Large, yellow eyes glare at her as she turns to look. It's Red Lizard clinging to the ceiling. He lashes out at her.

Kasumi's attention span had been faltering lately. She was very distracted, these days. Whatever was on her mind, it didn't help her notice Lizard until her senses were on high alert. She just barely avoids him and lands on her feet. "The Reptile. Goody," she says, reaching for her sword behind her back.

Red Lizard drops down right down on her and pins her down, snapping at her face with his gruesome set of teeth.

Kasumi moves her head then kicks up into the reptile's gut and flings him off. Then she rolls to her feet and upon sensing movement, she throws a few of her shrunken at him behind her before flipping forward to avoid the blast radius and unsheathing both her swords. "What lovely bedside manner you have," she says.

Red Lizard growls as he emerges from the dust cloud caused by the explosions, with only superficial wounds. "Wait until you see my table manners...", he hisses, his long tongue slithering out as he advances towards her.

"Wait'll you see mine," she says, bearing her own fangs before charging toward him with her sword in one hand and more shuriken in the other.

Nightwing was out on a routine patrol through Gotham, trying to clear his head of everything, mentoring Young Justice and trying to figure out how to stop Servo, not to mention this Sovereign character who had thrashed the Justice League.

A few gangsters were out and about in Gotham, looking like they were meeting up to exchange some illegal weapons tech in a vacant parking garage. A few of them were well armed and suited up for confrontation. "Hey, you hear?"

"What?"

"Some new big shot's rolling in town. I heard he's got the Bat running' scared."

Another thug steps down from the van. "That's old news. I heard the big blue got himself beat around like a-"

"Hey! Knock it off, you idiots! You want all of Gotham to know we're here? They'll be here soon with the goods. Get ready!"

Nightwing was above them on the roof of the garage listening in, waiting for the deal to go down.
