"Let's go with both...", Leona groaned softly stretching against him.

"Mmm?", Aridonis replied taking his hand up and down her side.

Orion smiled and kissed her head as he rubbed her side.

"Mmmmm."Callisto confirmed as she yawned.

"Morning...", Leona yawned softly looking up at him.

"Mmmmm...!", Aridonis chuckled resting his hand on the swell of her hip.

"Morning beautiful." Orion smiled down at her.

Callisto smiled up at him. "Sleep good?"

Leona smiled at him and leaned up to give him a kiss.

"I did, how about you?", Aridonis smiled kissing her on the cheek.

Orion smiled and kissed her back.

"Mmm like a log." Callisto smiled.

"Come on Xander, you can't chicken out on me now," Apollaine replied and reached out grabbing the crystal. Suddenly a creature roared and she gasped racing back down the steps towards him. The creatures footsteps made the place rumble and as she got closer to him, she flung herself to him and teleported them both out.

When they materialised, Apollaine hit the ground rolling and winded up crashing against Xander. Coughing she lifted herself and brought out the crystal from her pocket and stared at it.

"I know its not right but my brother and sister will forgive me forever if I do this for them. I have to take that chance."

"I'm still a little lost as to what it is we are doing for them" Xander said

"Because I haven't told you yet," Apollaine replied, "Xnader, I couldn't... you'd be against it. Besides, its not really for them. If I can do it I'll be the only new god amongst us that has achieved the ability of creating a god."

"What do you mean?" Xander said confussed "I thought you were able to reproduce like everyone else."

Nikkita stood on the balcony looking out over the land.


"These new gods are no different than the old. Sure they may appear to be doing the right things, bringing in a mortal to their council and taking an interest in our struggles but it is all a facade. They are pulling the wool over all your eyes, trying to get us on their side so that when they finally decide to control our every lives we accept it without question. I say we rid this world of gods once and for all, we don't need them meddling in our lives. I have heard of a way to make a god mortal and I intend to use it. The time of the gods is over, it is time for man to take control of thier own destiny."

"Are you alright", Nexus asked.

Apollaine got to her feet and looked about, "yes that's true but when the first gods existed they wanted many children and all at once. The greed and envy came along with the wars, the quest to be the greatest god. One wasn't enough so they looked to te mortals and mated with as many mortals as possible but over time they discovered that the half gods could not live immorally, and they started to bore of the life of a god fighting wars. They began to fight one another and finally they pulled back and only a few remained as the titans wiped all history before them and claim they created the planet and stars. There were rules in place after that as to what was allowed, although Zeus had many offspring, I'm not sure if he stayed under the rules or that no one bothered to question it.

Over time however most gods have desired the chance to be almost mortal and conceive babies so the knowledge of creating a god began to be lost. Usually to create a god, another must offer a great sacrifice. I do not know the real truths but I can assure you that Athena did not just 'leap' from Zeus head. I think something happened there though that's been kept under wraps. With Apollonis and I it was a simple matter of blood offering, from what was recorded. And I still remember seeing the sunlight for the first time, it was warm and lovely. I don't have a recollection of how I formed, it might be something where my memories have been altered. But when we did step our first steps, it was no different than us being young children in adult bodies.

"May I ask why you want to do this?" Xander asked

"They should never had been robbed of their happiness. Alea is never going to get over the loss of the child and her health isn't the best. This is the greatest gift, a child that is theirs but without any pressure coming from alea."

"Are you sure they will accept it?"

Leona giggled softly kissing Orion. "If only day was like this."

"Well... I guess... OWE. Alright, alright! You wore me out.", Aridonis smirked.

"What about? The Oracle's words?", Nexus asked.

Orion smiled. "Would be perfect."

Callisto smirked up at him and giggled.

"Maybe a little too perfect.", Leona smiled kissing him.

"It's difficult when you find yourself under pressure of someone so talented at riding.", Aridonis smirked.

Orion smiled kissing her back.

Callisto smirked. "Very true."

"Yeah" Nikkita said turning back to him

"We'll take it as it comes and do our best to deal with it.", Nexus told her.

Leona giggled softly kissing him. "I suppose I should stop looking for flaws."

"Of course it is... I said it...", Aridonis smirked kissing her neck softly, his hand caressing her side.

"If they don't, then I will," Apollaine replied and then she looked directly at him, "Xander, this would be the hardest thing a god can do... its not going to be easy... why do you think there's been so many stories about different ways the gods have been created? Everyone's out to try new ways... and none of the new gods have successfully achieved this... the child will be theirs and I will receive the full credit that I deserve and take a place as a god. And if Alea won't accept the gift, I'll take it. We will both show the others that we're not to be forgotten about."
