Deathstroke shrugged. "Amusement Mile? That could work. What did you have in mind?"

"Batman is in for a real night on the town," Clue laughs.


Kasumi meditates on a rooftop alone. So this "Nightwing"...it was him. How complicating. Did she kill him...or let him walk? She gets up when she hears a scream and opens one of her shurikens, leaping off in its direction. There were too many distractions right now. She had to focus on Batman but Nightwing...and this haven of a city for the worst of mankind...she couldn't ignore everything.

Deathstroke nodded. "I'll go get the two civil servants. Have the Mile ready when I get back." He said heading into the darkness.

Nightwing had his ribs wrapped up and he was able to move about again but he was going to have to favor one side, his ribs needed time to heal. Time he didn't have. He donned his suit and headed out on patrol, patrols always helped clear his head.

Saiko watched Deathstroke and Clue from the shadows across the street. He slipped away to wait for Batman.

Clue laughs inwardly at some sick joke in his head and leaves.


Kasumi lands behind a man in an alley, attempting to rape a woman. She grabs him and sticks the shuriken in his back. "Leave," she tells the woman. Once the woman is gone, Kasumi touches her hand to the man's face and watches as he is reduced to a lifeless husk at her feet. Then she leaves to search for Batman.

Deathstroke stood on a roof overlooking City Hall, the Mayor was in a meeting with DA, ADA, and couple Aldermen. Perfect hostages to draw out the Bat. Deathstroke shot a grapple line and zipped in towards the window of their meeting room, as he crashed through he lobbed several knock out gas canisters incapacitating them all. He stood up straight, having landed in a crouch and he turned to the door and opened fire with a submachine gun cutting down the police officers that rushed in.

Nightwing spotted Kasumi leaving the alley as he made his rounds and he went to head her off.

Kasumi's sixth sense and trained intuition alert her to the other presence. She stops in her tracks and waits with her arms crossed. It wouldn't be Batman. He had to lay low for now. This bounty business was concerning, after all. She could only assume it was someone of his entourage so she prepared herself for a fight.

Nightwing dropped down behind her. "So, saving people now huh?"

Kasumi turns and gets ready to throw a blast shuriken but pauses. "No...punishing the wicked," she responds stiltedly.

"Sp exactly what I do." Nightwing said crossing his arms.

"You would let them live to do it again," she retorts.

"I don't play Judge and Executioner." Nightwing said. "So, how have you been?"

"How touching" Delilah said looking down them from the roof with Crimson Blade standing next to her "the traitor and the usurper together. This will make it easier for us to finally put an end to the black mark you've left on the League's name."

"W-what?!" Kasumi says in shock. "Mistress, I...I only came here to Gotham so that I might eliminate the one strongest obstacle to your goal."

Nightwing cocked his head up looking up at the pair. "Oh look the queen and her friend zoned pal Mr. Blade."

"You know nothing of my goal" Delilah said "Blade, I thin it's time to finish what you started."
Blade nodded dropping down throwing several daggers at Nightwing as other assassins came out joining him in attacking Kasumi.

Nightwing avoided them before throwing several Wing-Dings at Crimson Blade before taking his escrima sticks out.

Blade dodged them coming down on Nightwing with his own staff

Kasumi looks around at the assassins closing in around her and her eyes narrow. She then draws her sword and counters one assassin's jab, kicking him over the side of the building before deflecting another swift attack and slicing the assassin's throat. "Crimson, you cowardly little..." She picks another assassin up a throws her at a group of them as a distraction before rushing through them with both her blades drawn. When she emerges from the other side, many of them fall. She'd attacked so swiftly that her movements were nearly invisible. "Tedious." She turns and raises her guard as more attack her.

Nightwing moved to the side and parried Blade's staff down to the ground before swinging his other fighting stick toward's Blade's head.

Blade spun out of the way throwing a kick at his side.

Nightwing quickly brought his Escrima sticks up and blocked the kick before pushing him back.

"Poor little Crimson," Kasumi says as she finishes off another assassin. "Couldn't beat me, couldn't beat Nightwing...he took the promotion to personal guard simply because the actual best weren't around for the job? Some honor. Now come to try and win with numbers. He truly IS the best assassin in the League now, isn't he, Nightwing?" She says sarcastically before catching a sword between her hands then kicking the assassin at its end away.

Blade grinned taking a stance "We never did settle which of us was the best."

"Well it's not you, you're a glorified lap dog." Nightwing said taking a stance. "Does Deliah toss you any bones? I mean it's the least she could do."

"I think he'd prefer Scooby Snacks. After all, he is busy hiding behind other assassins instead of directly facing his enemies," Kasumi says, adding to the insult by sheathing her swords before taking her stance.
