Victoria let out a groan of frustration. "I AM HUMAN. I remember being human!"

Erica walked out the door with a shake of her hips.

"There have been movies about this exact sort of thing" Peter said "movies about a robot who believes they are human. Androids that have memories of being human, living a normal human life that are just programs so realistic it is impossible to tell the difference between what is real and what is not. I don't doubt that you believe these memories you have of being human are real to you, but are they really memories or just elaborate programs created by those that made you."

"You obviously haven't read my confidential files, then. Makes sense. Why would they give them to a clueless, cold hearted person like you.", Victoria growled.

"You were part of an experiment as a child which is where you got your implants" Peter said "I've read it but there is a lot even a classified report like that will leave out, especially if there is the chance that their experiment will gain access to it and even more so if they want that experiment to continue to believe that she is human."

"Do you have any idea how stupid you sound?"

"No" Peter said "do you?"

"No, 'cause I'm the one acting the least like a machine."

"Or so you believe" Peter said "but if you insist on saying you're human then prove it to me. Do something a human would do and not a machine programed to think it is human."

Victoria glanced at him for a moment before suddenly turning around, placing her lips against his.

Peter pulled back blinking in surprise then smiled "Doesn't prove anything. Any machine programmed to think it's human would probably think to do the same thing. Face it Victoria, your more machine than human, if you ever really were human."

Victoria looked into his eyes, her own eyes tearing up. She promptly stood up before walking down to the water. "When they fish out my dead body tell them to do an autopsy to see if I drowned because my lungs were filled with water or if I rusted to death."

"Hey, don't be so stupid" Peter said getting up to stop her.

"SHUT UP!", she snapped and slapped his hand away. "JUST SHUT UP! Why do you care? I'm just gonna short circuit and turn off anyway, right?! You can just fix me and put me back together! Maybe you can remove my fucking brain as well and replace it with a harddrive!", she breathed in sharply as tears streamed down her face.

"Because I believe you now" Peter said "machines can be programed to fake many things, but real human emotions are impossible to fake."

"Don't, Peter... Don't just turn around like that.. Don't play with me...", she sobbed.

"I said something that hurt you" Peter said "when someone does that to another person it is common to apologize and try to make them feel better."

"So you're just doing it because it must be some RULE?"

Chris smiled following Erica, watching her hips sway.

"I think you've said enough Peter." James said having overheard Victoria and Peter.

"Mr. Miller...", Victoria said wiping her cheeks. "Why are you here, is the meeting over?"

Erica smiled heading out.

"It is, we'll be heading out soon." James said taking out a handkerchief for her. "Here Victoria."

Chris smiled putting his arms around her heading into command center.

"Thank you... I just need to talk with Peter for a few more minutes."

Erica smiled leaning into him.

James nodded. "Alright." He said. "Try not to take his head off." He smiled a little trying to lighten the mood. He looked over at Peter before walking off.

Chris smiled. "So what we miss?" He asked walking in.

Victoria nodded.

"Good question!", Erica smiled.

Carol smiled over at them. "Just the plan to defeat ArmsTech and the CIA...nothing big."

"OH! Is THAT all?"
