DC Universe- 2100

"They're over there.", Marko said flying over to assist.

Wonder-Girl grabs one of the 'zombie' weapons but fails to react in time to realize that she's surrounded on all sides whilst the rest of her response team is too busy fending for themselves. Suddenly every foe around her opens fire and she's engulfed, dropping to the ground, her body letting off smoke. They then turn to see Manhunter inbound and open fire on him.


Angelica marches through the streets, swatting aside any of the 'zombies' getting in her way until she manages to find Mischief fending off a hoard of them. "Whoa, the space cop. Don't know if I should keep fighting or run before you ship me off to juvie."

"Fighting is good for now," Angelica says. Why any non-psychopath would model themselves after The JOKER was still a mystery.

Manhunter flies toward them and goes into phase mode, letting the blasts fly through him as he sneaks up on the majority of the zombies, disabling them by phasing through them before finally getting Wonder-Girl out of there.

"Martian," Wonder-Girl says, weakly. "You must get away from me."


Mischief flips over one of the 'zombies' and just barely avoids being hit by another's beam. "These guys are cake!" She exclaims gleefully.

"Kid, just hit stuff!"

"That I can do!" Mischief responds as she leaps back into the fight, punching and kicking.

"I'm not letting you join them. If I have to pry open your mind and find a solution I will.", Marko says.

Suddenly a onslaught stops and Wonder-Girl, as well as the rest of her team begin speaking all at once. "All return," they says before flying to one area of the street. Wonder-Girl spins and throws Manhunter off then flies down to them. Angelica catches Manhunter with her ring then flies to Wonder-Girl and her team with him. However, before they can be reached, a Boom Tube opens and transports them all away.

"NO!" Angelica shouts as it closes. "Great. Batman's gone, no one knows where Superman is, and now we lose no less than seven members? This is turning into a really depressing first big test for us."


Mischief continues to fight off the remaining 'zombies'. "Not to whine but, HELP?!"

Marko turns around to the zombies and they suddenly drop as his eyes glow a deep red. He pauses and looks at them. "There. I helped.", he said. "...I'll try to reach Superman."

A thunderous boom could be heard in the sky as something broke the sound barrier, barely able to be seen was a flash of red blue in the sky before it hit the ground.

A massive shock wave went up sending 'zombies' into the air flying back in all directions from the group as a crater was caused by the impact. Superman levitated into the air coming into plain sight. He looked back at the other heroes. "Sorry I'm late."

Angelica rounds up the rest of the 'zombies' in the area and hoists them up into the air with the ring then slams them all down. "They got Black Bat and Wonder-Girl," she tells Superman. "I'll go to the Watchtower and check them out what's causing this. You guys might want to make sure this isn't going on anywhere else."

"I've done that." Superman said. "Cleaned up in the other areas before rushing here."

"We need to access the tech to open up a Tube.", Manhunter insisted.

"I agree." Superman said.

"Hey, Batman and Wondie aren't here so it's Superman's call where I'm concerned. If you want, I'll try and keep you on the line to feed you what I learn about this...mind control thing."

"Wicked," Mischief says, glancing to the side and kicking a 'zombie' that tries to get up. "So you're the Justice League? Can I come with?"

Again it was difficult to say yes or no. Heroic as her actions may be...occasionally, she modeled herself after one of the most notorious criminals of all time... "Uh..." Angelica fumbles over her own words for a moment then looks to Superman and Manhunter.

"How about you go for try outs.", Manhunter suggested to Mischief before looking at Superman.

"She's been a help so far I don't see why not. Keep us posted on what you find out." Superman said before looking to Manhunter. "So what do you suggest about the boom tubes?"

"My knowledge is limited. I was hoping you had any clues."

"They open via mother boxes which are Apokoliptian by design...so we need to figure out where we can grab one and track the boom tubes back to the source." Superman said.

"I can do a little hacking at the Watchtower and find out where we can get one," Angelica says.

"Try ebay first.", Marko says.

"Good idea." Supeman with a chuckle.

"And I thought I was the funny one," Angelica says, removing her ring and reverting to Bat-Girl. "Four to the Watchtower."

As they beam up, she heads to the main hub. As she accesses the main computer, Super-Girl floats in. "Dad, the whole Teen Titans thing. When is that gonna happen? Because I'm kind of the only teenager around here. Oh well. Guess that means I get to go straight to the Justice League, yeah?"

Bat-Girl looks over her shoulder and rolls her eyes with an amused smile.

Manhunter looks at both Superman and Super-Girl and turns around, hiding his smirk.

Superman looks at her. "Not now please..."

Super-Girl's face darkens and she flies around Superman. "Dad? Is something up?"

Manhunter looks at them both before heading towards the med lab. "I need to analyze the body we brought in, and I need to do it fast."
