DC Universe- 2100

"Hit him for me, wouldja?" Black Bat says as she opens the container and hears hissing from behind.

"Don't tempt me."

"That won't help you, little bat.", the lizard growls from the darkness.

"Not in this outfit, it won't," Lorie says, switching back to the Firefly suit and grabbing the upgrade then throwing up the heat shield.

As lizard reached out to grab her, his hand went through the heat shield and shrank in size, his skin tightening hard enough to show his bulging veins. He shouted and removed his hand, jumping back.

Lorie smirks and winds back, delivering a solid flame encased punch through the heat shield and directly into the lizard's abdomen. "Hey, Hawk, Dove! Wanna come back and have a little fun with this?"

"I'd rather not have you forgetting the mission at hand, Black Bat, nor the fact that we can't trust Hawk to keep him in one piece if he gets his hands on the lizard.", Batman said.

"Technically ya can't really trust me either, y'know," Lorie says. "...Wait, there was a mission?" She jokes.

"Yeah, well, I chose to trust you and I have reason to. Hawk hasn't made the best impression. And yes, Dr. Frost is dying upstairs."

"Oh yeah, that loon." Lorie winds back her arm then throws a rocket propelled punch into the lizard's rib cage. "Ooh, was that a crack I heard?"

The lizard got sent down another floor.

"Your power is at 50 procent already."

"Yea, yeah," she says. Lorie grabs a few explosive batarangs and throws them at the lizard but before they get close, they turn and hit a marbe column. Lorie then switches back to her Black Bat suit and kicks the pillar which falls down on top of him. The dust settles and Black Bat drops down to the lizard's level.

The lizard's prescense isn't visible, to the naked eye or to heat vision, except for a twitching hand.

"...Well at least he's alive."

Black Bat lands back at the machine holding Dr. Frost and disengages the device before pulling him out. "Batman, send someone to pick up scales and Snow Mizer. We'll bring Frost's suit back with us."

"Roger that. Wait, hold your position. The connection's back online and I'm getting a reading. You're being approached, and it is coming towards you."

The building shook with every thud that followed.

"HELLO! Angry Kryptonian comin' through?" Black Bat says as she looks around.

"It's the lizard again."

"That was, indeed, a surprise.", the lizard murmurs with a deep voice that still menages to echo quite well. Since last buried beneath the rubble he has grown quite a lot in mass and height, his body scarred and still roughed up thanks to the Black Bat.

"What do I have to do to get rid of this?" She suddenly gets an idea. "Batman, beam Frost up and his suits. I just marked them both. Hawk, Dove, and I will take care of this," Lorie says, opening a Batarang.

"Don't put yourselves at risk, Black Bat.", Batman says and beams up Frost and the suits.

"Hawk, Dove, if you're getting the transmission, we're gonna bring this place down on his head. Blow up or rip apart avery support holding this place up."

Black Bat then throws one of her batarangs at the column behind her and rushes off as the building continues to crumble, bits of the ceiling already falling.

The lizard gives her a blank stare as she starts to run and immediately pounces forward, dashing after her.

Black Bat flips back over Claw as he charges her, allowing him to plow through another pillar. "Will you just stay down?!"

If I have to tell you to shut up one more time, so help me, God

Claw growls and shakes his head as he removed his head from the ruined pillar, turning to Black Bat again.

"Building is about to collapse, you better hurry out while I try and adjust the transport beam."

"Hawk and Dove. Where are they?" Black Bat says as she guides Claw to another pillar and spins around it, kicking him in the jaw while leaving an explosive batarang on it and detonating when she's far enough away. She then leaps up and expands her suit's wings, flying up toward a window.

Black Bat lands in the window and jumps out. "And it all falls down."
