"Who knows what to think? The first Bat-Girl I had the pleasure of throwing down with was cocky and in over her head. She got better over time. This Bat-Woman, while having a similar build, sense of humor, and fighting style, is much more of a challenge."

Batman thought about it. He had researched quite thoroughly before on Angelica's background but other than himself she doesn't have any other siblings. If she did though, why would this woman go through the trouble of doing this? What does she know? What will she profit from this?

"Her eyes were different. I couldn't tell if it was because of her mood or not, but there something quite different..."

"Well, as annoying as she was, she was fun enough. Good luck, tiger," Far-Woman says before leaping off.

"In buisness news Ferris Air has been bought out by Queen Industries. This surprising news comes only days after the owner/ceo of Ferris was found dead. This is one of many recent buy outs to have occured not long after the unexpected death of a ceo or owner. Are you sure this is right? Alright then. I've just recieved word that the tiny nation of Markovia has invaded the Czech Republic. This invasion could not have come at a worse time for the Czechs as thier leader is still in the hospital after an attempt on his life"

(just a general news cast. These two events are connected into the assassinations)

"Yeah, I heard that" Frank said talking with Claire "Lucky those two showed up to stop it. There's been alot of assassination attempts and unexplained deaths lately. Do you think they're all connected somehow? That's a bit of a stretch don't you think? It seems more just like coincidence to me, besides I've been hearing about most of these take overs and buy outs for weeks though mostly as rumors."

"In other news, a massive number of unrelated individuals have also been found. Witnesses claim that many of them were criminals such as gangsters, rapists, and carjackers. These murders were thought to be the work of a mysterious vigilante. People are beginning to throw a number of names around. Some have argued that it's the work of fabled night vigilante known as Batman. This was later disproved when witnesses identified the figure as a woman. When we come back, Arkham Asylum and Blackgate are still boosting security measures after the riots a month ago. So how are they MISSING four major "super-criminals"? More when we return."

"Always in a hurry", Batman says and decides to scout the area.

Lorelei awakens the next morning and immediately heads down to the Bat-Cave to handle the samples from before. "Let's see...all right, here's a match. Sample 4-19-K. Lazarus? Hm..." She then looks to see if she can run a quick search. "Lazarus is a naturally occurring chemical compound, abundant in various locations throughout the world and is known for its ability to refresh...refresh, huh? I have a feeling that's putting it lightly."

"Rejuvenation", Derek says as he enters the cave. "It doesn't make you immortal."

"Not unless you're repeatedly exposed to the compound in large doses."

"Precisely. A pool.", Derek tells her and throws a couple of shady photos on the table.

"Okay, we know what we're after," Lorelei says. I'll run a search for any known locations where the stuff can be found and have the coordinates uploaded on your cowl by tonight."

"We've finally gotten somewhere."

"Well, with this case, yeah," Lorelei says. "I'm going out for a bit." She then heads back up to get more appropriately dressed to go out.

"Where to...?", he asks before realising she was gone. "Ah. I guess I better get something done as well."

Lorelei stops by the diner where she'd originally met Angelica and takes a seat at her usual booth. When a waitress stops to ask her preference, she tells them that she wants a strawberry milkshake.

Derek heads to work for a meeting.

Later on, Lorelei leaps the rooftops as Bat-Girl, free running and patrolling for something out of order. She suddenly finds that she can hear screams of terror from a slightly higher point in the area and turns to the highest building in the vicinity, making her way there.

"Bat-Girl, what are you up to?"

"Out on patrol. I hear screaming on a rooftop. Just heard a gunshot...now a few. I think a gang battle on a rooftop or something."

"I can get over there in a bit to help you."

Bat-Girl ascends the rooftops and finally arrives at the one in question, peaking through the door from the inside of the building to find that she was right.

Batman arrives a little while later.

Bat-Girl suddenly notes as several gunshots are fired into the air. The gang members all turn to find themselves met with Bat-Woman, glaring at them intensely. With that, Bat-Woman engages them all. Bat-Girl sees as Batman arrives and runs on to go and fight them off.

Batman follows her inside and heads toward Bat-Woman.
