Jane nodded. "Right, I have to look at my schedule after dinner."

Erica went to the changing booth.

"Got room for dessert?", Arthur asked Jill.

Peter got dressed and started packing up to leave.


"Yes" Jill smiled "I always save room for dessert. Do they have tiramasu?"

Chris waited outside with the other clothes she'd want to try on.

James nodded. "Alright." He said finishing his salad.

"I believe they do", Arthur smiled calling the waiter over.

Erica reached her hand out of the curtain. "Can you hand me the red blouse?"

"Yeah...here ya go." Chris said looking for it and then handing it to her.

"Awesome" Jill smiled

Are you just not going to talk to me anymore? Eve asked, psychically projecting her soul in front of Peter.

Jane knocked on Mikey's door in the apartment.

Mikey opened the door. "Hmm?"

Jane smiled. "Hi honey. What are you up to? Want to hang out?"

"Just playing some games." Mikey said. "Sure I guess if your not hanging with my dad."

"I thought we could hang out just us two. We don't do that much." Jane said.

"M'kay, whaddya wanna do?" Mikey asked.

"Well we could.. go buy some comics, or do some of your homework, or even play with your powers." Jane said.

"I usually play with my powers at daddy's work, he says it's safer there." Mikey said. "Comics sound fun though."

"Alright, follow me. I want to show you something." Jane said leaving the room.

"Okay." Mikey said following her out.

Jane led Mikey down to the garage, where there was a car under a white sheet. Jane pulled the sheet off and revealed a strange-looking white car. "Watch." Jane said to Mikey, then looked at the car. "Voice activation: on. Initiate camouflage."

The car buzzed in affirmation and thus became seemingly invisible. "It's micro-camera technology. The whole car is a screen, forged with millions of micro-cameras inside, taking pictures of what's on the opposite side of the car and projecting it on the surface, making it seem invisible." Jane said.

"Interesting." Mikey said looking the car over.

"It does more." Jane said. "It's bulletproof," She stood back and blasted the car with a blank matter projectile containing the same amount of energy as a speeding bullet. "It shoots propulsion blasts too, and the best part is that it doesn't even need gas." Jane smiled, patting the hood. "Voice activation: deactivate camouflage." The car became visible again. "I'm going to give one to your dad."

"Please, just leave me alone" Peter said

"I dunno, he loves that Dodge Charger he has." Mikey said. "It's a sweet car don't get me wrong."

"I thought we were partners." Eve stepped out of his way. "If not friends."

"That's true.. we'll see if I can get a Charger frame coated in this bulletproof material." Jane said. "Anyway, this is what my company is up to researching right now, if you're curious about what I do, honey. In fact.. we should stop by my office. I think you'd find it interesting."

"I'm sure I would." Mikey smiled.

Otto Furst sat in a limo heading to Jane's office in a UN/Special Corps convoy.

"Hop in." Jane said starting up the car and activating the garage door and gate to open.
