"Yes it is, why don't you come to the base and we can get you into the Special Corps officially." Frank said.

"Hey, Matt. Is this your new girlfriend? Or have you resorted to babysitting?"
"I'm 21."
"If you're 21, I'm the tooth fairy."

They walked on leaving Ashleigh with the marine boy named 'Matt.'
"I wanna apologize for those guys. They're assholes."
"Yeah well, you know what they say. You are who you hang with."
"Yeah right... wait, did you just call me an asshole?"
"Sorry, my defenses are up. I don't trust people too easily. Been hurt, burnt...everything."
"Why don't I make it up to you? After all, I promised to prove to you why you should stay here. A free tour perhaps?"
"I've seen much of the place already. Hey! Ever been in the labs?"

Matt swallowed, "That's out of bounds. I'll have my security card confiscated if I was caught."
"Life is short! Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be 80 years old, wishing you had done some naughty things in your time. And if you get caught, blame it on me. I'm trouble!"
"I'm beginning to see that."

They walked down the corridors towards the lab building and saw the guards out the front of the doors. Matt backed out.
"It's okay... I'm sure there's more to do here. What's on the other side of the labs?"
"Uh... the library?"
"Library? Well, I haven't see that yet, is that the only entry."
"Oh no... but you can get from the labs to the library. I'm not sure if its purposely designed so that the scientists can easily get books in a hurry."
"So if someone came from the labs, they'd be going just to the library."
"Figuratively speaking, cause there's just that and a tennis court."
"Probably when I did the tour, they skipped those two due to how boring they both sound."
"Oh, they're not boring at all...let me show you uh... Kelly."

"Some surprises aren't all that great" Dover said "But I'm always up for new experiences."

Jannelle headed down to the car with James getting in and heading to the theater

"You should know the answer to that question if you had been in the labs." Talbot said.

James drove to the theater.

Marian shook her head with a smile, "My husband often comments on how I lack the ability to believe in anything, even when the facts and evidence is laid before me. What I'm really asking is... is she dangerous? I know I should have better thoughts of my daughter, but I've seen what happens. Having no control over her powers is more than a loose end. Which is why she's in your quarantine until she can gain control. But will it be worth it? She's an adult, this should've been done for her long ago."

"Well we'll all see how this plays out won't we? If she cooperates with the military then it'll be over soon and she'll be able to go about her life...if she doesn't then...well things may not go so smoothly." Talbot said.

"I know, it's just that she's been through a lot. When I saw her just for that brief moment, just for a second, everything was like it was before. She was still our girl and she was ok," Marian replied opening the door to the outside.

"I better go... I shouldn't be here. If Ashleigh were to realise who I was," she said turning from Talbot directly to look at Ashleigh and the marine boy on their way to the library. They walked past her but Ashleigh turned suddenly, gasping. The woman was gone though, but she went quickly to Talbot.

"Issue the alarm, that woman is a shape shifter!" she told Talbot.

Talbot just smiled. "Oh I know." He said. "She thought I was just some man in a suit, her mind is easier to read than children's book, don't worry she'll be trapped soon enough."

"How about a trip to the theater?", Erica said.

Arthur arrived at the Corps.

Frank was in his office.

"Sounds like a blast" Dover smiled

Jannelle got out when they arrived and headed in with James.

James headed in holing the door for her.

Jannelle smiled at him "Want a soda?"

"Yeah, you want anything?" James asked.

"Just a soda and some candy" Jannelle said

"Alright." James nodded heading to the counter.

Jannelle smiled holding onto his arm.

James smiled at her and kissed her head berfore getting their snacks.

(Would you prefer this to be a real relationship or more of one where he's just using her?)

Erica smiled a little and headed inside.

Arthur knocked on Frank's door.

"Come in." Frank said.

"She has to be wearing something to allow her to use her abilities, cause otherwise how would you explain it? You call the guards and we'll remove any jewellery she has on," Ashleigh commanded.
