Haven City

James took his phone out answering it. "Hello?" He asked putting a finger in his ear, so he could hear her, a helicopter was preparing to take off near by.

"Hey baby, where are you?" Jane asked, her voice sounding tired.

"Downtown, I got caught up in that weird attack, where are you?" He asked walking down the street.

"The hospital." Jane said. "I don't know what happened.. Just wanted to keep you updated."

"Shit, what hospital." James asked, sounding worried.

"I don't know.. St. Kelly." Jane said looking around.

"Be there in few." James said hailing a cab.

"See you soon." Jane said.

James got into the cab. "Yeah." He said hanging up as the cab drove.

Sometime later he walked into Jane's hospital room. "Hey, what happened?" He asked walking over.

"We're not sure. We found her with a fractured spine and bruised up face, but she'll be okay. A little memory loss." The nurse said.

James nodded and he looked at Jane and smiled a bit. "Still good lookin' though."

Jane smiled. "Shut up. I haven't even seen my face yet."

James smiled. "Well I'll tell ya what, if you weren't hurt I'd lock that door and just climb into this bed with you and let the fun start."

The nurse smiled and excused herself.

Jane smiled at him. "James.."

James just smiled and he leaned down and gave her a kiss on her lips. "What?"

"You're embarrassing me." Jane smiled.

James smiled at her. "Well, seems lie ya don't mind too much."

Jane puckered her lips, expecting a kiss from him. "My back hurts."

James kissed her and smiled. "Well a spine injury wil do that, trust me I know. Want me to get the doctor to up your pain killers a little?"

Jane smiled. "If you can do that."

James smiled and he let a little bit of his symbiote off onto the bed, it cloaked as it left him blending in. "Yeah I will." He said giving her a kiss.

Jane arched her back and winced. "I don't know when I'll be allowed to go back home."

"It'll be soon babe." James smiled giving her a kiss before he went out.

The symbiote discretely made it's way to Jane and slowly started healing her injuries to speed her recovery along.

"Hope so. Thanks for coming." Jane smiled.

James came back with a doctor getting her pain killers upped a little.
