"It's a last resort anyway, right? I mean, the one on the Watchtower is pretty weak. I mean, I helped build it. But this one...we confiscated it from Luthor. It...could kill him."

Joseph arrived back at his apartment after recovering from his battle with Superman.

A few messages were waiting for him when he got home.

1. Mr. Grayson we're sorry to have to inform you but, Mr. Tomis has escaped. We've tried reaching your sister to inform her as well but haven't been able to reach her.

2. Hello my winged avenger of the night so sorry I missed you with all the chaos that's plagued this city recently. Oh, you should be happy to hear I crossed another off my list a shame too I really liked him. Anyways, I bet you need to heal up after that unfortunate beating maybe I'll pay that little songbird sister of yours a visit.

Kasumi stands on the fire escape near the window. "Doctor Mid-Nite must be some medic, for you to be up and raring again," she says when the messages stop playing. "Or you're just stupid and stubborn."

"Be surprised what they have up in the watchtower." Joseph said. "So...want to help me ruin a man tonight?"

"You know I'm going to try and kill him. Why even invite me?" Kasumi says.

Joseph looked at her. "Because I know you can be better than just a killer."

"The Demon Blade tells me he's murdered children and loving parents.  If you were ever right about me, Joseph, then right now...you're dead wrong.  Him I kill.  Like the weapon I was raised to be.  And if you don't like it, then I'll stay away...for now. I only stopped by to be sure you were doing better. Call it a friendly gesture."

"That's the one thing we will have to go on with this: That it COULD kill him, but let's hope not.", Derek says.

"So how do you think this is all going to go down?" Lorie asks.

"Why? You scared?" Angelica says.

"Aren't you?"

"Horrified."

"You don't have to partake, Lorie. If you're worried. Infact, I wish we could've avoided this.", Derek says from the computer.

"Since when has 'worried' stopped me? Or have we NOT all fought Clue?"

"Good point," Angelica says.

"I suppose that IS a silly question at this moment in time."

Joseph looked at her. "Let's just play this one by ear." He said.

Kasumi leans back against the window frame, staring ahead. "If that is your wish, Joseph," she says.

Joseph nodded and went into his room to change. "Be back in 5."

You know he will try to stop you. An act of treason against justice itself. You are better off destroying him. Kasumi turns her head and looks over the city lights in the distance. Set your emotions aside. You are a weapon of cleansing and justice. You know what you must do. "I know nothing."

Nightwing walked out. "You good Jon Snow?"

"Funny," she says. "Are you?"

"As good as I'll ever be." Nightwing said walking to the window.

"Age before beauty, then," Kasumi says.

"Well I'm age and beauty here." Nightwing joked before jumping out.

"Then what's that make me?" Kasumi asks, following him off.

"Still good looking, but c'mon. Look at me!" He smiled trying to bring a little levity to the situation as he landed on a roof.

"Yes, I'm sure one day you'll make an excellent wife," Kasumi says. "I mean, those girlish good looks must be good for SOMETHING, right?"
