April shook her head watching Guy head inside and then looked to Carol, "Well...surely you can help me out. Izzy, doesn't think that she can pull off being the super mum... there's no such thing... although it would be cool. Super speed the nappies and have multiple clones..."

"Sure thing, what do you need?"

"Send them off together. Like Izzy just whined about Ian not being around for something, well of course... they haven't had their special day... and basically every day there's dramas. Let us deal with our new friends... Talyan's sister seems to want to help out as much as she can, she's fascinated with the babies. She wouldn't hurt them and Talyan himself seems smart enough to take on any jobs we get assigned to. James might even be able to teach him the ropes of the team... but there really hasn't been anything we've been called to help with for some time."

"Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem."

"I mean, its our responsibility as god mothers and future bridesmaids," April said dramatically with a chuckle.

"Please tone down the drama a bit. It's not that bad."

April smirked, "Oh... alright... no...they're not bad kids... I guess all babies cry, what else are they meant to do... but three at once in the one ear hole. I don't fancy any of us being deaf."

Izzy heard it, "Are you picking on me?"
"Uh... of course not..."
"They aren't that bad April... you just haven't worked out that there's two sides- the angel and the devil. The devil... it just decided to attack my shirt. And I don't mean to sound all stressed out, but you try remaining calm and collected without swearing in front of the kids, after this has happened. Hmm... though I think Annabelle doesn't like yoghurt."

"You'll get used to it" Carol smiled "just wait till they start walking though."

"Or talking back..." Talyan said approaching, "Thank you again for you kindness."

April blushed, "It's what we do..."

He smiled and took a glass of water back to his sister, and April groaned, "It's what we do? Shoot me Carol, that's the best thing I could've come up with."

"Don't look at me for advice" Carol said "I've never been good with the opposite sex. Well that's not true, I've always been good with them just not with relationships. Hell most of the guys I dated just for sex and half of the time I had to get myself off or tell them how to do it. And now I think I'm going to shut up because I've made both you and Izzy feel awkward and uncomfortable."

"Maybe just April," Izzy teased, but April stormed away and Izzy groaned.

"I totally forgot her history... oh I'm so terrible," she said continuing to scoop more powder into the bottle, well past the required two scoops.

"I should apologize shouldn't I" Carol sighed

"No no..." Izzy said, "April's just finding things tough. She's worried about telling Talyan she's attracted to him, but doesn't know if she should put her heart on the line after what happened with that guy she was seeing and then Alexandra. And if you take it further back, I'm not so sure she has gotten over Miles's death. She even suggested giving the manor to us forever, not just the wedding day. Then there's the matter that she told me in confidence that one of the reasons she broke it off with him, whatever his name was, was cause he wanted sex. Then thankfully Alexandra came along and I'm not sure if April ever knew that she was bisexual, then again maybe she wasn't. The things Alexandra did that were lies...

And the girl thinks that I have things going crazy up here. You know though, if she doesn't start talking to Talyan soon, I'm going to break my oath and blurt something out. Uh... what am I doing here anyway. This has got way too much powder in it..."

"Yeah, I'm pretty tired", Lucy smiled a bit.

"I was about to tell you that" Carol smiled "but knew you'd figure it out eventually."



"It's along flight" Ian said "You can sleep on the way, I'll wake you before we land."

(now to figure out if the team are there as friends or enemies)

"Thank you"; Lucy smiled kissing him.

(Yeah. How about we make it a misunderstanding?)

(alright, that'll work. I have images up of them, probably going to work up a general bio for the team)

"Not a problem" Ian smiled

Lucy smiled and closed her eyes resting.

"Perhaps not," Izzy grinned, "I am known to do silly things sometimes."

She waited for Guy to come into the kitchen before slipping up beside him, "But the most sensible thing I've ever done was finally saying yes to mister handsome here."

Ian leaned back resting with his arm around Lucy


"Which I'm starting to think will only happen if we just forgo the wedding and go down to the courthouse to see a judge" Guy said

"You just want that option so you can turn up in jeans and a t-shirt," Izzy teased, "There's no rush... I'm yours regardless of any official paperwork."

"Just an idea" Guy said

Lucy leaned against Ian.

"Wake up" Ian whispered sometime later as they landed

Lucy opened her eyes slowly and yawned a bit. "Are we there?"
