Thomas went to gear up.

"Does it really take all of us to look over a bunch of politicians" Shane asked James "I mean, Rodgers knows what I can do and I don't doubt this new girl is good at what she does but wouldn't it be better having more than one person out there trying to find this guy. I mean Lexi can copy my powers and then they'd be three people out there following his scent. Instead he's got me babysitting. If you ask me I think the old man is losing his touch."

James looked at Shane. "Let's see she can copy your powers correct? So when they come after the delegates, and they will and probably with a lot of fire power you can turn into any animal...like a big ass bear, so what's better two big bears defending a location with a super soldier, a spartan, and a powerful metahuman? or two more noses looking for a group of people that probably did their homework to know that you could sniff them out."

"I see your point" Shane said

James nodded. "He wants the VIPs to be as protected as possible."

"Yeah, I get it" Shane said "doesn't mean I have to like it."

"Let's just do this the way Cap wants it done and everybody will be happy", Thomas said.

"Fine, whatever" Shane said

James looked at Thomas. "He's always like this, he hates the military."

"I don't hate the military" Shane said "just the idiots who send the troops off to needless wars."

"Well this is boring" Shane sighed "I'm not a babysitter."

"You are for now." James said.

"I need some action" Shane said "I bet the general is having a great time."

"If you want action go and find a titty bar." James said.

"Not that kind of action" Shane said

"Might as well be the way you're talking about it. War isn't something to be played at." James said.

"Yeah, I know that" Shane said "Just saying, if this guy Carol is anythign like he sounds then why haven't we seen any action. We're running out of time and if he's going to make good on his promise to kill one of them every hour we're late then he's got to either have an inside man or be sending some men to take them."

"Well then we wait until that happens, just stay sharp." James said.

"Right, think I'm going to go get a birds eye veiw of the place" Shane said walking off.
