The War

Tabris nodded. "Every day." He said putting his hand over Aileen's.

Aileen smiled over at him

Tabris smiled at Aileen.

"So, what do you think of my cooking" Venus smiled

Tabris smiled and took a bite. "Mmm, very good." He smiled.

"Good" Venus smiled

"Did you hear about the Min'taa?" Krakken asked eating. "Seems like they've decided to go back to thier ancestral roots."

"I had heard something about that yes." Tabris said.

"Appears they're chasing a myth" Krakken said

"Yes, Lucien informed me they are chasing ancient artifacts." Tabris said. "My father even put the Imperial military on alert status."

"What do you think about it?" Krakken asked "Think there's anything to it?"

"Possibly." Tabris said. "Lucien was looking into the historical records about weapons used in past ages. Some very interesting things."

"Yeah, Venus showed me a few things from our own archives."

"What did you find?" Tabris asked.

"Just a legend about how Terra was united" Krakken said "Supposedly Callisto possed some kind magical gemstone that she passed to her successors till it was lost in war."

"So a Terran Gem and Ancient Mintharan weapons...doesn't like too good of a mix if these things happened to be found, there are legens of Mintharan warriors wielding weapons in ancient times that could defeat entire armies, and this was when we still rode mounts and fought with sword and sheild." Tabris said. "Or at least that what the legends tell."

"There is always some truth to legends and myths" Venus said

"Well for the sake of galactic stability I hope the Min'taa don't unearth anything. One war is enough."' Tabris said.

"I agree" Krakken said

"It's up to our two people's then, no one else has been left as in tact as our two governments." Tabris said. "The human UEF was nearly wiped out and the Vashrath are also still recovering."

"I think that's all we need" Krakken grinned

Tabris smirked. "No you'd like it just be the Terrans." He chuckled.

"Yes, well that would be more poductive" Krakken smiled

"I'm sure." Tabris chuckled taking drink.

"So, when will you two have your wedding" Krakken asked

"Hopefully soon." Tabris said. "We haven't set a date yet though."
