John patted Alek on the back. "This soldier is happy to be here. The bullies will be out of Poland soon enough."

"I hope so" Alek sighed

"You'll see soon enough." John said.

"Then maybe I'll find my family" Alek said

"I'll help you with that." John said.

"You do not have to" Alek said "but thank you for offering."

John looked at him. "We'll get em back."

Alek nodded "Come, we must move on to a new camp and rest."

"I agree." John said.

Alek moved out with the rest to a new campsite

John went with Alek and the other Poles.

The poles found a nice spot to stop and startedsetting up camp.

John was keeping an eye out.

Karl was heading back to the German base.

Tomas waited at the base for the men to return

Karl's halftrack rolled into the base and he and only two other SS soldiers got off.

Tomas walked out to meet them. "Is this all? Where are the rest of the men?"
