"I'll give my mom a call on the way to the precint." Guy said finishing his food.


"What time is it?' Carol asked

"4AM..." James said looking at the clock. He chuckled a bit. "God damn."

"So much for surfing" Carol chuckled

"Maybe tomorrow." James chuckled.

"You mean later today" Carol smiled "after some sleep"

"Yeah, later today." James smiled. "Need sleep."

carol was already starting to drift off resting on James' shoulder

James kissed Carol's head before falling asleep himself.

"Holy shit I can't believe my eyes. What brings the big CIA man back down with all us flatfoots."
"Nice to see you again too Bull" Guy smiled at the det. "Just here to visit with my pop and see if my old partner is still around."
"Yeah, she's around somewhere"

Izzy fumbled around behind Guy looking about, "She... you had a female partner?"

"I mentioned that yesterday" Guy said heading to his father's office

"I must've tuned out, were you ever you know?" Izzy pressed.

"If I say yes you'll be jealous and if I say no, after you meet her, you'll wonder why not" Guy said "So I'm just going to say that was another lifetime and before I met you."

"I better still be number one," Izzy said grinning, hiding back how much she was teasing him.

"Of course you are" Guy smiled kissing her on the head going into his dad's office.
Guy's father was talking with one of his detectives about thier current case.

Izzy smiled coming in and taking up a seat.

"Oh, sorry didn't know you were busy. We can come back" Guy said pulling Izzy up to leave.
"Wait just one god damn minute mister" the det. said turning to face them. "You come back after all these years and i don't even get a hug?"
"Sally?" Guy said looking at her. "Holy shit it is you. You look different."
"Yeah well I've had a couple kids since you left" Sally smiled hugging him.
"Really" Guy said arching an eyebrow.
Sally chuckled shaking her head "Don't worry stud my oldest was born a year after we split."
Guy let out a sigh "Oh, Sally this is my fiance Izzy; Izzy this is my former partner Sally."
Sally hugged Izzy "Nice to see someone finally got this one to settle down."

Izzy was surprised by Sally, and blinked, before smiling, "Uh... he was that bad, was he?"

Sally smiled "You and I should talk. How about lunch tomorrow, if you're still in town."

"That would be lovely, we're leaving on Friday," Izzy said smiling widely, "Although, be prepared, I am likely to speak nothing else but about the news of my baby. I'm having a scan in a couple of hours. Oh, I'm sorry, that's probably not information meant to be spread to the world, I'm... I'm just excited."

"If that's all it took to make you commit I would've done that years ago" Sally smiled looking over at Guy.
"Asked before I found out she was pregnant" Guy said "Just wasn't ready for a long term relationship at that time."

"And in this version, I was the blind one. He flirted with me for many months, before I even picked up on the fact that he was actually flirting. I misread it for being sweet."

"Well he always was a sweet talker" Sally smiled "anyway, been nice meeting you Iz. Guy, you'll have to stop by and meet the family. Now I'm off to catch a killer."

"Would good luck help?" Izzy called out.

"Not really" guy said as sally headed off.
