| I want to see the new actors. The old ones well I've told you all that I've met Carrie personally and she's an unrecognisable old grandma now, and from images mark hamill is the same. I don't think they were going to incorporate that after return of the Jedi the two of them went into depression, drank and took drugs. I suppose Star Wars has alcohol and luke did lose his father lol.
But I'm not paying money to see the old ones try and still kick ass I want to see what the new ones have to offer.
The same with the new Jurassic park, there was only a brief scene that made it look different to the original movie.
Hate teasers with a passion lol

| That was a bit scary having the page down but it was forumotion themselves. They're getting additional servers which should mean faster service and there shouldn't be any crashes.
However this has reminded me of our first forum and how much was lost but we managed to have a lot stored externally. So I'm going to check on the admin panel to see if there's a backup option otherwise could you guys copy pages of characters that are important to you that way if ever we did encounter an awful situation of losing the page we will at least have something and you won't have to try and remember every character?
Cheers | |

| There is a backup option. I've run enough of these forums to know. It isn't a perfect back-up option, but it's there. You can reset the forum to the way it was X amount of days prior to the reset as well. | |

| Been thinking about a spin-off of Clash of Kingdoms, similar set up but set in the future thinking maybe the equivalent to the 1700s or possibly farther into the future to around the equivalent of the 1900s | |

| sounds interesting, I had a similar thought but much farther into the future. Almost like the world of Roland from the Dark Tower series. | |

| it covers many different world but the one I'm thinking is almost a western, medeival type setting. It's in a world that has 'passed on'. There are remnants of tanks, gas stations and other technologies from the 'old people' laying around and some technologies that still work. A world where magic and science go hand in hand. Roland is the last gunslinger, the last in the line of Eld (king Arthur pretty much). His main weapon(s) is a revolver, guns passed down from father to son when they come of age.

| That's interesting so it's a post-apocalyptic world? | |

| that would be one way you could explain it. They pretty much say the old ones destroyed each other. There are slow mutants, I assume people that have been disformed by radiation judging from their descriptions. | |

| Ah cool, I was thinking that magic and science would blend in this, the war with the Others caused breakthroughs in magical knowledge and science as Humanity and it's various kingdoms had to adapt to a foe not able to be killed with arrows, swords, etc but needed fire based or magical means to kill them.
Was going to have the Xi Empire invent gunpowder weapons like China did in real history and then Eturian countries perfected them. Depending on the time frame we could be seeing Muskets or Bolt-Action rifles or even early assault rifles.
The magic and technological boom would lead to the kingdoms discovering new lands an then begin competing over them, on these new lands we could have indigenous humans, mystical creatures, or even other races like Elves and Orcs.

| I'm thinking either 1700s or mid 1900s, two eras that are very interesting in my opinion and it'd keep us from going into the future like we have with other RPs. | |

| the 1700's offer us more things to draw from as far as world history goes but then again the 1900's would be a little more modern but not too modern. | |

| Thinking the 1700s could deal the discovery of new lands by explorers, their colonization of said lands and encountering new people's or races.
1900s could explore what happens when magic is forgotten by Humanity as they've come to rely on science more. Picture Tiger tanks in full retreat as they fire at Dragons and giant Ice demons lol
