"I'm sure you friends have evething under control."

"Maybe, maybe not. I don't know that for sure."

"There is little you could do to help them from here."

"Doesn't matter. They're family. I figured you'd understand that.", Derek says.

"You and I have different definitions of family" Delilah said handing him the laptop brought for him.

"No kidding.", Derek says and takes the laptop from her hands before going online.

"Good luck wwith your family" Delilah said leaving him.

Derek watches her leave through a glance before typing away at the laptop, trying to find out more about recent events in Gotham.

Derek lays back and tries to relax through out the night but finds it hard to fall asleep. He has too many thoughts inside his head, too many things occupying his mind.

Angelica gets up early to work her shift at the diner. On the way, she passes news coverage of the prior night's incident with the boat. A maddening laugh plays back in her head and she shudders. All throughout her shift, she seems to be out of it.

Edgar gave Elizabeth a call

Robin meets up with Bat-Girl in Gotham. "Found her?" Robin asks.

"Of course. Nice work on the surveillance system," Bat-Girl says.

"I try."

"Catalyst is in that building."

"How are we going to snap her out of it?" Robin asks, hopping onto his glider.

Bat-Girl stands up and rolls her shoulders. "Easy. Hit her real hard in the head."

"Oh."

"Hello?" Elizbeth said picking up.

"Sounds like a plan." Batman said coming up behind Bat-Girl and Robin.

"Hello, it's Edgar. Was wondering if you might want to get a coffee or something."

"I can do coffee. Where at?" Elizabeth asked.

"I know this little cafe, serves the best cappucino you'll ever have. I'll pick you up in about thirty minutes."

"Oh, hey. The Terrific Trio. Together at last. This'll be memorable," Bat-Girl says. "Age before beauty." She nods for Batman to go ahead first.

"Well, geez, I know I'm pretty and all, but..." Robin jests.


Catalyst sits at her computer in her hideout, reviewing information on the recent seeds being planted to sprout a gang war throughout the city.

Edgar landed his jet on a private strip somewhere in Italy. "I hope the flight wasn't too rocky."

"Then let's go." Batman said heading towards the building.

"No it was fine." Elizabeth said.

Bat-Girl and Robin follow Batman inside. Catalyst hears a sound and glances over her shoulder before returning to her work. Joker, Black Mask, this Penguin person, she'd been busy. "Well this is elaborate," Bat-Girl says.

Catalyst turns around, unfolding her bow. "Who's... oh. You."

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you knew about all of this before the rest of us."

"Would not surprise me all too much." Batman said.

"Just get out," Catalyst says, turning back to her monitors.

"Not gonna happen." Batman said.

As the conversation goes on, a tiny fly flies through a nearby air vent, buzzing quietly as it heads up into the air before planting itself high up on the wall above the monitors, it's mechanical eye watching them.

"Might help if you said 'please'," Robin says.

"Look who grew a sense of humor," Catalyst says.

"I can't speak for them, Lorie, but I just wanna-"

"You just wanna 'talk'. Everybody just wants to 'talk'. 'Kay. Just don't blame me when 'talking' turns into kicking, screaming, and things blowing up. So. What do you want to talk about aside from the psychopath-dictated gang war brewing under your noses? I hear that's a hot topic."
