Matriarch shove him off her towards a few other Cardinals

"I think he's got it under control" Rocket said "and while he's busy the rest of us can destroy this stupid ship."

Sentinel landed and grabbed a Cardinal draining him which was much easier than draining the Matriarch before blasting another putting a hole in it's chest as he started to tap into the power they all fed on.

"Let's get moving." Ms. Marvel said. "Blindspot I'd stay and help Sentinel if I were you he may need it."

"Yeah, I think he'll need it" Blindspot said as the guardains took off

Other Cardinals attacked james firing blasts at him

Sentinel flew up avoiding them before taking a Cardinal's head off with another blast and flying at another tackling him and draining him.

Ms. Marvel went with the Guardians to destroy the ship.

"Main reactor is that way" Rocket said "we'll go this way to take out the back up systems."

"Be best if we stick together." Ms. Marvel said.

"Don't worry, we know what we're doing" Rocket shouted back at her half way down the hall

Ms. Marvel shook her head. "Yeah, I know." She said heading off to take out the back ups.

Sentinel threw a Cardinal away. "Find a weak spot on her yet Keith?"

"Like she said the prayers of the followers feed her" Keith said "as long as they have followers and a strong belief they will never run out of power nor will she."


Dover decided to follow the Guardians instead of stick with Mrs. Marvel and the others.

Sentinel spat. "Well then I guess it's just a battle of wills, we gotta make this fight too much for them to want to keep going."

"Agreed" Keith said joining the fight "at least until we figure out how they're harnessing this belief power."

Sentinel nodded. "Agreed." He said rushing a Cardinal punching him through a wall.

Keith fired on a few looking around the room

Sentinel kept taking on Cardinals and other members, absorbing their energy as he went.

Ms. Marvel blasted the back up generators.

Dover noticed the Guardians split up and decided to follow Drax and Gamora figuring Rocket and the other two were going to do what they said.

"Alright back up generators are down, status update?" Ms. Marvel asked over the comms.

"We ran into a little trouble but the main reactors should be down soon."

"Hurry up." Ms. Marvel said. "I don't know who Blindspot and Sentinel are faring."

"Then go help them" Rocket said "better yet, go get them and get off the ship, it's about to go boom and you want to be as far away from here as possible when that happens."

"Starlord, we've got him" Gamora said over a seperate channel "we're on our way back to the ship."
"We'll meet you there soon."

"Keith, James time to go." Ms. Marvel said over the comms.

In the vacuum, a small, personal vessel seems to drift, its pilot in some sort of stasis.

A large vessel comes up along side it, shinning lights on it and scanning it before using it's tractor beam to pull it into it's hangar.

The alien woman piloting is sealed in a pod, hibernating in total stasis.

The ship's hatch is opened and several Koratin, blue skinned Humanoid aliens step onto it, a few are clearly soldiers while the rest of science officers, they begin to inspect the ship.

The stasis field reads as having been damaged, somehow. Thus it has been active for longer than intended.

A Koratin engineer shuts the stasis field off freeing the alien within it, he takes out a Universal Translator incase the alien didn't speak Basic.

The woman begins to stir. She sits up, holding her head and grumbling. <Where in haven's name have I wound up?>
