"I'd pay attention to the path ahead if I were you," Kid says as she inches ahead.


Wonder-Girl vaults over the beam and sticks her landing near perfectly, sprinting off to the next challenge.

Pantha slashed at Kid's horses as she rode pass.

Mal moved on through the challenges coming to the final event, the 1500 meter race.

Kid steered the horse to the side. "Hey! Don't hurt the HORSE!" She shouts, firing her shooting stars at the bindings holding Pantha's horse to her chariot.


Wonder-Girl printed as fast as she could through the race.

Pantha flipped forward as the horse raced ahead without the chariot

Mal was just behind her pacing himself.

Kid crosses the finish line as Wonder-Girl sprints ahead as fast as she can for hers.

Pantha screams her frustration as she vanishes

Mal catches up to her crossing seemingly at the same time making it unclear who the victor was until Wonder Girl appeared in the main hall alone.

"That's whatcha get for trash talking the Star-Spangled Kid!" Courtney says as she gets out of the cart.

Wonder-Girl looks around the main hall and hovers. "H-hello?"

"Hello champion" Master smiled "You are the first to emerge victorious."

"No respect, I tell ya," Kid says before suddenly being brought to the main hall. "Ugh...never getting used to that."

"What...is left?" Wonder-Girl says.

"Only two more rounds till a true champion can be declared" Master said "Now go, relax."

Tula emerged next in the main hall, she had successfully won her challenge and she wasn't sure what occurred with her opponent, but with a hard obstacle course, she never stopped to wonder what one mistake would've meant. There were times when she wasn't sure if she could hold onto the ropes.

But being back in the main hall she looked around in surprise, where was Garth? And Kara?

Garth raced through the labyrinth. He heard the loud roar of the beast that was his opponent closing fast. As he glanced back he was reminded of the legendary minataur and wondered if this was truly his opponent or if he had already been take by the beast that had stalked these corridors. He saw a light a head and raced towards it diving out and into the main hall. He got up looking around.

"It's a great honor meeting you" Mary smiled at Kara "Any idea how exactly this contest of strength is meant to be won?"

Kara smiled, "We're perfectly and evenly matched. We could fight with these poles provided as long as we like but I don't see any of us putting a foot wrong and coming off the platform."

"Garth!" Tula called out, "I knew you'd be alright."

"Of course" Garth smiled hugging her "and so did you."

"True" Mary smiled "and I don't see either of us being able to force the other off so... SHAZAM!" Mary was struck by a bolt of lightening reverting back to her normal human form.

"What are you doing?" Kara called out to Mary. Kara knew that she could easily fight in her normal everyday clothes but could this other girl do the same.

"Well I was hoping the strike would knock you off" Mary said "but since it didn't and you didn't take advantage." Mary shouted the magic word again returning to her super powered form.

"If you want to fight, we'll fight. I was just being rather kind which would get us both nowhere," Kara answered.

"True" Mary said "No shall we continue?"

"Listen, how about a deal?" Kara called out, "It's a game. Whoever loses, no hard feelings, no anger. If it takes forever... we play heads or tails, agree?"

"Fine by me" Mary shrugs.

"Good... hope this doesn't hurt," Kara said knocking low at her legs.

Mary flew up avoiding it coming back down striking at Kara's head

Because Kara's pole was positioned vertically, she was able to push outwards to block Mary's advances. Kara's feet barely moved.

Mary landed awkwardly back on her platform

Kara forgot where she was and moved faster and with more quicker strikes. Moving like a dance, she left little opportunity for Mary to move in on her.
