| For once I can safely say with utter confidence that Poison Ivy wins, 'cause I mean, considering the variety of different plants and such that she's created and displayed through out the comics, video games etc, I am sure that she could create some sort of SUPER FLY TRAP. | |

| Fair enough. Another harder one. Killer Moth vs. Hobgoblin. Now Hobgoblin has never, to my knowledge, had superhuman strength or anything like Green Goblin so he's just the normal dude with gadgets. Killer Moth is often highly underrated. Dude's really dangerous and he is also jut a dude with gadgets. Some might be tempted to say that Hobgoblin's glider gives him an advantage but Killer Moth can ALSO glide around with his wings. It's quite the tricky battle here and basically comes down to who has the better toys. | |

| I honestly don't know a lot about either, other than the fact that they are both somewhat underrated in their respective universes, but I'm less familiar with Killer Moth who actually doesn't look too intimidating. | |

| Killer Moth never looks intimidating and that's what actually MAKES him intimidating. People undermine him because of his appearance and then when he shows how dangerous he is, they regret it. Hobgoblin is every bit as threatening as he looks. I am tempted to hand this one to Killer Moth because his recent interpretations have him as sort of a trained merchant of the likes where Hobgoblin's experience is pretty limited to field experience. | |

| Well, I'll trust you on that decision due to my limited knowledge! | |

| My knowledge of Killer Moth really ends there but Hobgoblin I know more about. For the sake of argument, I'll say Hobgoblin because I don't think Killer Moth just carries around readied explosives everywhere.
Okay. Bane vs. Venom (haha, see what I did there?)

| Yes, very clever... clever indeed...
Well, really, I'm again not quite sure but for whatever reason I see Venom winning. Or rather the symbiote.

| Yeah. I think Bane might be stronger MAYBE depending on how much venom is in his system but Venom himself actually can do a lot of other things like swinging around so he has better mobility and he's faster. Plus there's the added bonus of tendrils. | |

| True, but Bane must have an advantage considering his intellect. | |

| True but Venom can also mildly shapeshift and turn into an amorphous mass of goop. | |

| Yeah, although I was kinda thinkin' that perhaps Bane finds out about Venom's weakness at some point during the struggle. | |

| Yeah, high frequency sound and the like but that does also kind of play into where exactly they're fighting. As how convenient it was for Venom to choose a construction site to fight Spider-Man at in Spider-Man 3. It's not like a car horn is gonna knock Venom on his knees. The sound has to be a really high pitched noise. | |

| Fair enough. But there's also the tacked on factor that the more venom there is in Bane's system, the less rationally he starts to think. | |

| I still feel kinda bad about actually declaring Bane the weaker of the two. | |

| Well technically he might be stronger depending on the version of Venom being used but there're other things Venom has that give him advantages just as Bane's intellect gives him one. Bane has brain and brawn which makes him a threat. But He'd have to use a LOT of venom to beat Venom (depending on where they are) Sonics aren't easy to come by and there isn't always an easy way to strike up a flame around. Thus his intellect would be shot. | |

| Well, fair enough, I suppose! It seems like Spider-Man's villains are just more amped up than Batman's. | |

| Yes but remembering it this way, Spider-Man does technically NEED more challenging enemies. He does have superpowers. | |

| The next we don't even have to apply prior comicbook knowledge. I only picked them because of their names.
Man-Bat vs. Man-Wolf. AKA Vampire vs. Werewolf. Who wins?
