DC Universe- 2100

Cole Kent was up in the sky above Metropolis, absorbing sunlight.

Nightwing leaned on the wall listening.

Centurion was off to the side cleaning his weapons.

Derek came out of the medical lab wearing a smoother mask without ears to enable work by the computer to be more comfortable. "It's fine."

Angelica stands there projecting a 'Super Symbol' into the Metropolis sky with her ring. "You know, for a guy that can see several miles away and run faster than a train, this is taking a while."

Cole stood behind her. "So, you going to keep complaining or tell me what you need?"

"If you see a 'Super Signal' in the sky, projected by someone with the most powerful weapon in the universe, then you know one thing, above all else. What we need are heroes, Superman. Gotham Police Department. How soon can you be there?"

"I'm Superman, I can be there in no time." Cole said.

"Right...and Super-Girl? What's this one? Sister? Cousin?"

"Daughter." Cole said.

"Oh...ouch. Uh...I can understand if you want to leave her out-"

"Not so fast!" Super-Girl says, landing between them.

"Of this. Hoo boy."

"Leave me out of it?! You JUST said you need heroes!"

Cole sighed and looked at Karla then Angelica. "What are we fighting?"

"Does the name Brainiac ring any bells?"

"Alright, so what's the situation" Star asked


Amazon sighed flying back to her jet. She didn't have time to wait for her, not if this was as big as it sounded

Wonder-Girl floated by the jet and called out to Amazon. "There you are. I saw you arrive. Then you left and I couldn't find you. Is something the matter?"

"As you can see, we're bringing people together. It's about Brainiac.", Batman says.

"Yeah" Amazon shouted opening the back "Get in."

"Alright" Star said "I'm in."

Wonder-Girl turns to the jet and gets in. "How dire is the situation that you would come here to seek my aid? Or is this a danger far greater than you and I?" She questions.

"It's big enough that they are reaching out to all heroes" Amazon said "we're on our way now to pick up two more."

"Assembling the greatest of the world's champions to combat a common foe...an intriguing thought. Who are the others?"

"The one's we go for now are Hawk and Dove" Amazon said "I assume the others are already waiting for us in Gotham."

"Brainiac? What makes him so scary?" Super-Girl questions, crossing her arms.

Lantern says nothing. She merely looks to Superman.


Wonder-Girl looks out of the jet at the passing land beneath them. "I will help in whatever way I can."

"What? I'm not sitting this out. Kryptonians can handle anything."

"I knew you would" Amazon smiled "alright, strap in we're going to land."

"This one is a little too much for you Karla." Cole said.

"What? Dad, you're joking, right? I can totally handle this."

Angelica then projects a large golden wall between herself and Super-Girl. "If you can hit me, you've proven your point. You only get one shot so make it count."

Super-Girl stares for a moment at the wall then winds back and punches it, the result being a decently sized crack but the wall doesn't shatter. Angelica then retracts the wall. "And there's the proof. You're only thinking about having powers, not how to use them. I never said you had to touch that wall. You could just as easily walked around it. When it comes to enemies like Brainiac, you can't afford making mistakes like that. He's all about outsmarting his enemies."

Karla looks down out of spite and sighs before floating off. Angelica then turns to Superman. "Gotham Police Department...please." She then hovers up and races off at hyper speed.


Wonder-Girl straps in just as they prepare for landing.
