"All right. Anyway, I'm heading down to the cave. I thought up a few suit modifications in case I ever have to deal with Frosty the Snowman again."

"Dr. Frost?", Derek asks.

"Yes. I still have chills from that one. Talk about cold."

"...Are you using puns?"

"What? NO! Gee, you know I have a more sarcastic sense of humor. And here I thought you knew me so well."

"...Sorry. Shouldn't have doubted you."

"...You'd do well to get a sense of humor yourself too," Lorie says walking off to the cave after waving.

"Wow, thanks.", Derek mutters grumpily and heads for the door.

Lorie sits in the lab a bit later, weaving together a sleeve on her almost completed new outfit. "And there we go." She suddenly hears a report that another wealthy entrepreneur had been killed presumably last night. "Jesus," she says to herself.

"Friends? My only friend is my good camera. This twenty and a bit year old, will be quite alright, but that doesn't mean that I won't appreciate a phone call or two. Now, I think I could do with some easing off and time to myself. This is all a lot on the system."

Frank nodded "I'll give you a ride home."

"Yeah, I'd love that," Jess replied dashing past her relatives.

Frank nodded heading out "Oh, and Mr. Vale for the record there is no Batman or man in black, they're both Gotham myths that have nothing to do with this city."

"And off the record" Eric said

"I'm thankful there are people like them out there helping protect the people, even if they're actions are unlawful" Frank said

"Thanks detectie" Eric said

Jess scoffed, "You're the only hero out there Frank. You and that Campbell. How is he?"

"Fine" Frank said headin back out to the car

"It was a metaphore" Nightlight sighed "You know, justice/light/good overcoming injustice/dark/evil."

"Oh, believe me, I understand. But what's order without a little chaos? Can't have justice without mayhem."

Derek heads outside to investigate.

Lorie sits at the monitors in the Bat Cave in case she is needed while working on her thermal suit's finishing touches.

"I think I have a headache" Nightlight sighed

"Aw, poor baby. Didn't expect the 'clown' to get deep on you? Fine. The how about a little remedy for that headache, I like to call fun? A couple of crazed up loons are taking over all the major crime zones in Gotham and Bludhaven from what I know. I'll let Batman handle Gotham. I personally couldn't care less about the place. But there's one guy out here building up an empire and I know where a warehouse full of his little puppets is. Wanna crash a party?"

"Alright" Nighlight shrugged "just don't kill anyone."

"I can't say I ever have. Used to be curious about it though. Something intriguing about the idea. It's on the east side," Mischief says, getting onto her motorcycle.

"Right, lead the way" Nightlight said
