Cyberpathic Mind
Ian’s mind functions like a computer with unlimited storage capacity. He is able to record and analyze vast amounts of data, including the entire genetic code of another living being, and can also calculate complex statistics in mere seconds.
Kinetic Memory
Ian can instantly recall specific information with incredible speed and accuracy.
Total Recall
Everything Ian’s mind stores- experiences, data, memories, etc can be recalled instantly and perfectly. As such, he is able to track the probability of an event by piecing together stored data.
Decompartmentalizing
Like a computer, Ian is able to perform multiple tasks at once by allocating a partition of his brain to each task. For example, he can use his mind to replay a movie he had watched previously, play a game of Internet chess, and focus on battling an opponent without any one task distracting him from another.
DNA Manipulation
After analyzing the DNA of another superhuman mutant, Ian is able to selectively evolve their existing genetic traits as well as catalyze the untapped genetic potential of latent mutants. Once begun, the procedure is irreversible and can often result in unpredictable side effects.

Ian is able to read the thoughts and minds of others. He can also project his own thoughts and manipulate others minds to make them forget or do what he wants. Ian can also alter others thoughts and memories. Ian is able to reflect mental attacks - be they psionic or cybernetic in origin -back on their originators. Ian is possibly the most powerful telepath ever know but he has not yet shown this level of strength. He usually commits only a portion of his brain to using his telepathy.
Heat Absorption/Control
Ian is able to absorb heat from around him and use it to create various weapons. He has mastered his abilities to the point of creating several different blades ranging in size. His smaller ones, like darts or throwing stars are used mainly for getting someone's attention by stunning them like a tazer and have little effect on those hit by them. Medium sized blades like knives or Sais are used to cause severe pain to the victim and if put in the right place could cause temporary paralysis. Larger blades, like a sword, are used for more lethal attacks that cause permanent paralysis or death if used in the right place. He is also capable of forming shields to burn incoming projectiles or to generate thermals beneath him as he falls to slow his descent.
Background
Ian was born into a family of spies and named after the author Ian Flemming and his character James Bond. He learned everything about the world of espionage from his father and grandfather. He was always able to talk himself out of troublesome situations, even as a child and was described as fun loving and a bit of a prankster. After gaining his powers though he became cold, calculating, and serious.
After graduating he joined the Royal Marines applying to be trained as a Telecommunications Technician, Mountain Leader and Assalault Engineer. When he finally finished his training he was given the rank of sergeant and served his country with unquestioned loyalty recieving several medals for his services and achieving the rank of Command Sergeant Major before being recruited into MI6. While with MI6 he met Guy on a joint mission with the CIA to gather information on a possible terrorists threat. It was through Guy that he met his future wife, Guy's sister.
He would not be married long though as his family would be targeted by a paranoid former MI6 agent that worked with Ian. As Ian arrived to save his family the agent murdered them in front of them. Over run with emotion Ian lashed out killing him. He was found innocent of murder but ordered to take leave from his job and undergo counseling when he returned.
Now, after years of serving the queen he finds him self in the states running a team of 'superheroes'. He tried having a relationship with Krista but it did not work out. To avoid anymore heartbreak or bringing harm to loved ones Ian has thrown himself into his work rarely leaving the office.
After dealing with Talbot Ian has restructured the team, trying to reform it into more of a special ops unit. He has also decided to try to lighten up more and begin to be more social. The arrival of Allison has thrown him off a bit because of her uncanny resemblance to his late wife.
After being scarred in the attempt by Homicide to take out the team Ian started investigating who could want them dead. His investigation brought him to belive the US government was out to get them. Further proof came after Guy learned the US military was supplying Mutant Killer rounds to be sold on the streets. Still wanting more concrete evidence he sent Guy and a team to investigate but soon found himself under attack from within the base. After narrowly escaping Ian planned their 'deaths' and left the others returning home and looking further into the conspiracy from there. After a month had passed he sent a message to the others requesting they meet.
While the others dealt with various jobs, Ian worked on getting to the bottom of the governmental conspiracy. He provided the team with informaion on different individuals involved of the months that followed before finally putting it all together. He met the team in DC finally bringing an end to the conspiracy. With the book finally closed on this chapter and the team finally getting thier lives back, Ian has returned with the team to the Private Eye/Security buisness he established renaming it CURA.

Personality: Guy is an odd mix of a ladies man and a gentleman. He is good at reading people and judging thier character. Guy is generally a laid back individual that knows when to joke around and when to be serious. He is protective of those he cares about and will gladly give his own life for thiers.

Background
Guy grew up in a family of cops. All his life he wanted to follow in what was thought of as the family buisness. To help with this he studied the martial arts from a young age and by the time he was ready to leave school was an accomplished martial artists. Guy became an acocomplished detective with the LAPD before being recruited into the CIA. On one mission he met Ian and the two became close friends. Guy introduced Ian to his sister, who would later become his wife. After his sister's death he lost contact with Ian for sometime.
He would eventually reunite with Ian after getting a call from his brother in law. Guy's job on the team was to go where they couldn't. As a normal person he was able to help bring down mutant slave rings and investigating the sale of MK rounds to the public.While working with the team he met Izzy and the two eventually grew close becoming a couple. His investigations lead to the discovery of a governmental conspiracy against super powered individuals, something that Ian had leaned on his own. During the governments take over of the teams base Guy fought his way in to help get Ian and others out, faking thier deaths in a crash.
Guy worked with the others at the PI/Sec. company Ian set up in Chicago helping those in need. When not bringing in kidnappers and crooked cops Guy was helping Izzy plan their wedding. Now that they no longer have to hide Guy is glad to be starting a family with Izzy.

Carol is a powerful telepath that can read minds, project her own thoughts, or manipulate other’s minds. Carol is also able to communicate with animals through her telepathy

Combining her hypnotic charm and telepathic powers she can take control of any life form. She does not always need to use both of them to accomplish this but has greater control over them when she does.

Carol’s senses are heightened to a greater degree than normal humans. She is able to pick up someone’s scent from a mile away and can hear the faintest of sounds. She is able to see everything within a few miles.

Background
Carol was only a child when her parents took a trip to Brazil. While touring the Amazon she was left behind when they were forced to leave by Brazilian military. Alone and frightented Carol cried for hours before being taken in by a tribe. She lived amongst them for the next three years before they too abandoned her leaving her once again alone and frightened in the jungle. Her powers would manifest at this time, much earlier than mosts and she discovered she could control the minds of the animals around her. She survived in the jungle for the next few years thanks to this power and eventually made her way to civilization where she became a thief. When she was twelve she was taken in by a man who started pimping her out, forceing her to do unspeakable acts to men sometimes five times her age. After a couple years of this Carol discovered that she could manipulate humans as well and made one of her clients kill her pimp. Now free she returned to the streets using her powers to get what ever she needed to survive.
When she was 16 her parents returned to Brazil and realized she was still alive when she offered to be thier tour guide. Happy to see thier daughter they returned to the states with her but Carol never really adjusted getting in fights at school and selling her body to the boys at the school. Despite all this she would graduate with passing grades and leave her parents to join the Army becoming one of the best to graduate from Ranger School. She would later join Delta Force for a short time before taking an assignment in the states.
Carol met James when he walked in on her and Katie. Despite the rocky start Carol and James eventually became a couple often joking with the other over which branch of the military had the better soldiers- Army or Marines. When James was went to Max Carol visited when she could, waiting paitently for him. During the break out she helped keep most of the prisoners from getting out and was one of the original members of the team put together to round up those that got away. She and James were reunited when he was given a pardon for serving on the team and eventually got married leaving the team when she became pregnant.
She and James started new lives away together with thier daughter Jenny and pet wolf Blizard. When Dieter called asking for help in rescuing the team she and James gladly joined them. While the others faked thier deaths Carol and James fled to join his mother, sister and Jenny at a secluded cabin going off the grid until they got a message from Ian to meet.
Carol worked alongside James in Ian's PI/Sec. buisness partnering up with Izzy to bring down a sex trade ring. When not beating down on bad guys Carol enjoys spending time with her daughter and trying to have another kid with James. After the team finally put an end to the conspiracy against supers within the government she continues to work for Ian at CURA hoping to help others like her.

Background
Henry comes from a family of arms dealers. Growing up an only child he was tutored at home and when he was old enough joined the military to better understand the people that are using the weapons his family provides. When his father passed he left the military to take over the family buisness and started his own private military. He eventually decided to get into politics serving several terms in the Senate before becoming Vice President. As VP he has pushed his own agenda supplying MK rounds to small time arms dealers, supplying secrets to terrorists, and trying to get a law passed to register super powered individuals and force them to serve in the military.
Henry hired someone to kill the president convincing the nation that he was truly saddened by the loss. He took over as president slowly changing things and getting away from his predecessors policies. He sent his personal aid, Nash, to investigate who was trying to bring down his other organizations and setting up his assistant and lover when Nash told him they were getting close to him. For thier work in uncovering the conspiracy within the government Henry pardoned the team for anything they were accused of and presented them with the Presidential Award.

Isabelle Sophie Mesnier

June 18, 1982. Gemini.

She promotes herself as a nerd but isn't half as geeky as she thinks. She carries her laptop mostly everywhere, and hates missing the news. Her television is locked into the history channel, but at times she'll settle on her couch and watch How I met your mother while feasting on pizza and downloading information for work.

Background History:

Isabelle was born in New Canaan, Connecticut to Laura Anne Coulter and Charles Joshua Mesnier, both deceased. She is the only one in the family to be unaware of her mutant genetics and only discovered it when she joined the team.

Izzy has a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Music from University of Texas at Austin. Always wanted to either be a teacher or music teacher but took up a job at Shacal Corporations as a receptionist. After discovery that Shacal were involved in criminal acts she was lost and confused, and immediately tried for a position within the team. Isabelle thinks the team was the best thing to happen to her, changing her future prospects and changing her personality, and finding love from a fellow team worker Guy Johnson.

Now with a new life on the horizon of being currently a fiancée, soon-to-be-wife Izzy believes she needs to go through a change to be better and worthier. She also is hoping for a future where her and Josh share a friendlier relationship.

Personality: James is brave, loyal, protective, and firm but has a soft fun loving side that usually comes out around his family but he is business like when on a mission.

Powers

James has a powerful symbiote, a clone of the Venom symbiote but genetically modified by SHIELD and the US Military. It has the ability to transform into 3 stages after it's normal form. The Symbiote also gives James the ability to see in any spectrum of vision, heal from wounds at a amazing rate, use smaller pieces of the symbiote to heal other people's wounds, scout areas, and ambush people, the symbiote is also able to with stand and protect James from any weapon ie. if he's hit by a tank shell depending on his form he might just shrug the blast off like nothing or he might be sent flying back. The symbiote has even been seen resisting attacks from adamanitum weapons at his normal form, increasing it's resistance as he transforms up his power scale. The symbiote can also blend into any environment cloaking him and his heat signature making him a difficult foe if he cloaks, also the symbiote provides good protection to James' mind to protect him from mental attacks, however strong telepaths can overcome this obstacle. The symbiote like all others is able to create powerful tendrils to use as weapons, turning the ends of the tendrils into various weapons. New Venom usually keeps his powerful jaws and teeth concealed only revealing his mouth when he needs to spit his powerful acid spit and to bite foes.

Transformations:

Stage 1: New Venom's normal form, has Class 90 Strength, Extreme Reflexes, a Symbiote Sense, Speed making him very fast for someone without super speed.

Stage 2: New Venom becomes slightly larger than the Hulk, his strength class goes to Class 400, his speed is only slightly reduced to compensate for his size, and his reflexes remain the same.

Stage 3: New Venom's body shrinks down to normal size but he's leaner than his normal form, his speed levels are shot up to super speed levels, his strength level goes to Class 700 and his reflexes are augmented even further. However this form strains the symbiote and he's unable to hold it for too long, the longest he's held it is for 2 hours, and after than James collapsed from exhaustion.


Weaknesses
Sonics: The Symbiote is weak to Sonics, but only very powerful sonics of very focused sonics with a good boom to them, he is much moRe resistant to Sonic Weapons than the first Venom. New Venom has shown to withstand powerful thunder claps.

Heat: The Symbiote is at a disadvantage in very hot areas, causing him to weaken and slow down a bit, while fire is relatively useless against the Symbiote areas with very high temperatures will cut his abilities down making him a easier foe to overcome. Cold however has the exact opposite on James and the Symbiote, making him faster, stronger etc.

Background
James was born into a strict military family in South Boston. He was the son a then Captain in the United States Marine Corps and so from a young age was indoctrinated to earn everything in life and to work hard for anything he wanted and to break his back to help out the man beside you. James' life became one of hard work, determination and he was fueled by the desire to be the best he could and with the Irish blood in his veins he used his grit and will power to attain his goals.

In highschool James was known as the hot tough guy. He was the quarterback on the football team and attracted alot of attention from girls which developed his pride and confidence as he usually ended up bedding whatever girl he wanted. After highschool James decided to go to college and play football as he was thinking about a career in the NFL. He would take a scholarship at The Ohio State University and play quarterback for the Buckeyes under their new head coach Jim Tressel. He would through his hard working attitude and commitment to the game become the starter in his sophomore year leading the Buckeyes to three national titles against the LSU Tigers his sophomore year, the Alabama Crimson Tide his junior year, and the Florida Gators his senior year earning James the nickname "The SEC Killer" as his play against SEC Schools ended the dominance the SEC in the National Title game. All three SEC schools had tried to recruit James. James would also win the Heisman Trophy his Junior and Senior years becoming the second player to ever win the award twice, the other being another Buckeye great Archie Griffin. After playing at a high level in college James was predicted to be the 1st overall pick in the NFL Draft but instead he decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps.

There he would excel as well becoming part of the elite Marine Force Recon units as a top notch sniper. In the USMC he would undertake several high risk and black ops missions and other assignments during conflicts the US was involved in. However after a mission went wrong and James was injured and unable to continue active service he was approached by the Department of Defense to become the host for the Wraith symbiote.
As Wraith James would do special operations for the US Government. During this time he would also meet Carol; his future wife when he walked in on Carol with his childhood friend Katie having sex. James would try to bed Carol time and again getting off to a rocky start with the beautiful woman. However James and Carol would eventually become a couple. James would be sent to the Max when a mission went wrong and the Government was unable to help him. James would wait for the days when Carol could visit and during the Prison Break Carol was there and James helped her knowing if he made a run for it wouldn't be able to get out. He was given a full pardon for joining the team that was to round up the remaining escaped criminals. James and Carol often joke with each other over who's better the Army or the Marines as Carol was herself a Army Ranger and then part of Delta Force.
James and Carol would eventually get married and have a daughter named Jenny. They would leave the team a lead normal life with James becoming the Assistant Coach and Quarterbacks Coach at Ohio State working with his old mentor Jim Tressel again. During this time James' jersey #12 would be retired during a home game against the Buckeyes arch-rivals the Michigan Wolverines, the Buckeyes would win soundly 45-13. James however would not keep the job and would resign when his old friend Dieter called asking for help in rescuing the team. James and Carol would gladly rejoin the team.
Now James works for CURA with Carol. The two are living a comfortable life raising their daughter, beating up bad guys and of course trying to have another child.

Josh Scott Mesnier

DOB: 17th January 1971. (When PB started was 35, currently 39.)

Izzy's older brother, aged 35, works as a surgeon and doctor specialising in trauma cases. He doesn't get along with Izzy too well as he blames the fact that his powers couldn't save his mother, who was a normal person dying from cancer. Got a grumpy attitude.

Background History:

Josh first came on the scene after helping the team with their medical emergencies. Since then, he has broken down the relationship bit by bit with sister Isabelle. But now after realising that he is one year off 40, and his sister is creating a big future for herself, he's beginning to wonder whats in store for him.

Holly Marie Mesnier

Age: 16

Powers: Healing to others and emotion manipulation.

History: Daughter of Josh, and niece of Izzy. Has the reddish tint of the Mesnier clan in her brunette hair and has two powers, one identical to her father's. Her mother Charlotte, raised Holly on her own after Josh was upset about being not being told that she had kept the baby. He believed they were too young, being only 20 at the time.

Background History: April was an orphan found by the team, after escaping from a maximum security facility in which she was arrested after killing her step-father was a teenager. During the course of the story, April reunited with her step-brother, the only living member of her family and the background was revealed.
April was born in Canada, to Cassandra and Garth Winters, mutants with the powers of water and ice manipulation. The couple were captured and placed in a mutant camp, using mutants to create weapons and machinery, for several years, until Cassandra was given an opportunity to be released. She was found to be three weeks pregnant and a senior officer exchanged money for her release on the condition that she would be his wife and mother to his own son. She happily took up the offer, forgetting quickly about her husband, finding the rich life far better than the one she had. She fell ill almost immediately after giving birth to April, and gave her the Winters surname, her father’s.
April’s childhood was hard, trying to help with her mother’s care and constant abuse from her step-father and when her brother turned 18, she killed her step-father after he forced her brother to gang rape her at his own birthday party.
Her time with the team enabled April to learn how to control her powers better, and not to use them to harm people. The team’s help provided successful, when she tried to kill Jonathan after discovering that he was behind Shacal Corporations, an illegal corporation in which they met a Izzy for the first time. She immediately sought to find out her history and found her father who had become completely lost of his own identity and was killed by Kristen, a villain that broke out of the same prison and came after her.
Kristen’s death, brought a brand new villain onto the scenes, Bionica, who came after April, shattering a new life that April was starting to create, but even Bionica’s time was short-lived, as she was betrayed by her own butler Miles, who saved April’s life by taking Bionica out temporarily, but she returned to kill Miles shortly after. April was shocked however, to discover that Miles had left his entire manor estate to her, in which she still lives in today.

John has many connections in the US Government having a influence of many Senators and House Representatives. Talbot Enterprises has several contracts with the US military, DARPA, and the CIA producing and researching experimental weapons and is the leading producer and supplier of MK rounds. John as a great mind for politics having "pocketed" many high ranking officials in order to further his friend Gilbert's cause. John has recently accepted the nomination of Secretary of Defense furthering his control on the US Military structure.

Talyan Demiyer

He was born in Alzey, West Germany, and raised in Turkey.

Powers: He can take any animal form he pleases, but when he does, he can only act as the animal for a short time before changing back and remains himself within the disguise, meaning he can speak while he is an animal.

His body temperature is warmer than a human's body should be. In human form, his body heals within seconds, he possesses superhuman strength and speed, has a high durability rate, sharp senses, night vision and free running abilities.
