Gotham City- 2100

Bat-Girl sees the heat signature making a break for it and goes on Gut feeling, landing in the doorway to cut her off. "Make another friend, Batman?"

"Not exactly", Batman says firing a grapling hook at Delilah's legs.

Delilah leapt up over Batgirl kicking her in the back.

Bat-Girl grabs her leg and swings her back around to Batman. "If I had a nickel," she says.

Batman catches Delilah and tries to pin her down.

Delilah kicks him off her taking a batarang off his belt and throwing it Batgirl.

Bat-Girl deflects it with her own Batarang then throws three more at Delilah.

Delilah knocked them out of the air with a few of her knives diving out a window

Jess's mum zipped up her jacket and grabbed her equipment heading out to the car with the younger in age officer. But she paused by the door, "Hey, Frank... if Jess returns, send her home... she's got a pile of chores with her name on them. Even journalists, have to put aside a good story for their general living duties."

"I'll let her know if I see her" Frank said grabbing his coat to head out.

One hour later...

"All units. All units. Code 3. Request back-up immediately. 5951 Baxter Street. Domestic situation. Be advised. Two occupants with a gun. Shots fired. Shots fired," came a man's voice over the radio.

"441... we're sending out back-up...ETA ten minutes."
"Heavy fire! Stumbled across some real rough domestic fight! Some kind of gang war going on here!"
"Just hold yourselves back until back-up arrives."

"Too late! Shots fired! Officer down! Repeat. Officer down. 5951 Baxter Street. I can't get myself away from danger either..."

"The gas has cleared. Let's pursue her", Batman says to Bat-Girl.

"Right," Bat-Girl says, pressing a button on her belt. In comes her Bat-Cycle on which she drives out.

Batman takes a moment to scan the room for Brass or her assistant, Snow.

"Something on your mind," Bat-Girl asks, seeing his concentration.

"Brass and her assistant."

"Maybe they got away. You did say Brass could handle herself, right?"

"Yes, but.."

"But what?"

"I'm still worried about her", Batman said, standing by the window, trying to see how long Delilah had made it.

"Well maybe you should check on her in a bit. She probably just went home or back to Aerocorp."

"...Right", Batman said and went out.

"So this Delilah chick...what's she out to get you too for anyway?"

"I don't know, but may have to do with the recent murders"

"...And here I thought taking out Black Mask would make this place better. Gang Wars, Professionally Executed Murders, more Super Villains...it's getting...worse actually."
