Chris smiled sitting next to her. "Well least we have some time to rest."

"Yeah, I'm pretty exhausted. There's so much shit going around now", Erica said.

"Yeah." Chris nodded sitting back. "You wanna grab a bite to eat?"

Erica let out an exhausted sigh. "Yeah, I do" she smiled.

Chris smiled and got up. "C'mon then beautiful."

Erica smiled getting up with him.

"There's too many." Kreiger said. "That portal is still open." He said getting onto the transport with Blitz and Jannelle.

Chris walked over to Erica. "Hello." He smiled sitting next to her.

"Precisely." Eve said aloud, breaking the silence in the audible world, then looking to Peter. "Perhaps we'll wait until it's dark and take a stealthier, clean approach. Then we'll find out who's up to this."

Frostbite sat in the transport, her heart finally resting, her breath lengthening. "What the hell was that? This isn't what I signed up for."

"Anyway," Aurora said, standing up. "I hate to admit it, but being an Amazon, I am a bit embarrassed to be in such close proximity with a man and not have my sword through him." She said modestly. "Perhaps I should go home."

Jane left the room calling her mom and went off to pick Mikey up from school.

"Well, it'll be tough at night, the Special Corps is enforcing a curfew because of the attack and the Dragon is being taken to the Special Corps base." Teagan said.

"We will have to figure that out." Krieger said. "I'm sure Obelisk may have an idea."

Frank nodded. "If you wish."

James relaxed in the tank, healing.

Mikey was in class, the news was on about the Dragon.

"Emphasis on the stealthy." Eve said, a bit rudely. "Besides, there's nothing fun going on tonight."

"Unless, that is," Aurora smiled, "you'd like to test your abilities against an Amazon."

Jane stepped into Mikey's classroom, an office aide escorting her. "Come on, Mikey. I came to pick you up early!"

Teagan crossed her arms. "Listen, no way you get by all the Special Corps patrols and superhuman detectors without me, so try and a little nicer."

Frank chuckled. "Aurora I'm 45, I am past my prime."

Mikey looked up and smiled a bit. "Okay." He said gathering his things and running over to the door.

"Great, just what I need another girl getting into my head" Peter sighed rolling his eyes."Well get in, we don't have all day."

"Not good" Jannelle said sitting back on the transport

William sat back with Jannelle. "So, Brian was behind all this?"

Teagan got into the car sitting in the back.

"I'm not sure" Jannelle sighed "it's like he was somewhere else."

"So where are you taking me" Jill asked him getting in. "Do I need to change?"

"What do you mean?" Will asked.

"Like I told you he kept talking about her" Jannelle said "but he never seemed like he was completly there."

"I've booked a nice place in town. I figure we could both use a change", Arthur smiled a bit.

Erica headed out with Chris.

Victoria woke up on a pile of scrap metal. She observed her surroundings and slowly got up before falling off, rolling down the hill.

"Excellent" Jill smiled

Peter pulled up and stepped out looking over the mess left by the dragon.

Arthur nodded smiling. "Yeah.", he said driving to her place.

Victoria's vision blurred as she stumbled along the damaged street.

"So should dress casual or formal" Heather asked

"Somewhere close to formal", Arthur smiled.

"I think I have something then" Jill smiled

"I can't wait to see you in it then.", Arthur smiled. "Pick you up in thirty minutes?"
