The undead hoplites held their shield walls pushing the Trojans back and stabbing out at them with their spears.

Nikon stood up and came down slashing at Apollonis.

Apollonis rolled out of the way getting back to his feet

"Push them back" Hector shouted

Nikon sized up Apollonis taking a stance.

The undead hoplites kept pushing the Trojans back.

(how many Trojans are with Hector?)

(a few thousand)

Apollonis looked over Nikon.

(Oh damn, though it was a small group.)

Nikon charged Apollonis slashing at his stomach.

Adastros moved up with the rest of the undead hoplites forming up on the Trojan flank.

(at least a thousand; It is possible for Nikon to make a deal with Apollonis.)

Apollonis deflected the blade to the side and bashed him with his shield.


Hector saw him coming and turned to face him.

(Thought Apollonis would kinda hate Nikon for pissing Hades off.)

Nikon chuckled and grabbed Apollonis' shield and pulled it off and tossed it aside.

Adastros smirked seeing Hector. "Think you can face a god, mortal?"

(he does, but Hades does have a plan to get at his brother and Apollonis knows this so he might strike a deal to help. Plus he's not the type that does what he's told, just look at how he's reacted to Zues. It is within his personality to go against Hades.)

"I don't see a god" Hector said "I see a man claiming godhood."

Apollonis slashed at his stomach

(True, just thought the Zeus reaction was because of him being a son of Hades. So wanna have Nikon strike a deal with Apollonis on behalf of Cronus to usurp Zeus?)

Adastros smirked stabbing his spear into the ground and mounting his shield on it. He drew his xiphos and beckoned Hector. "Come then son of Troy."

Nikon's armor took the slash with ease and he punched Apollonis back. "So son of Hades...do you always follow what the olympians tell you to do?"

(that is part of it but I wanted him to be more than a yes man for the Olympians like the others seemed to be)

"Just my dark father" Apollonis said "The rest can go screw themselves some more for all I care."

Hector rushed Adastros

(Yeah Orion is yes man, cause of Athena and Ares being children of Zeus. )

Nikon smirked. "Of course, but your dark father has gotten the short stick all along, surprised he hasn't even thought about helping us."

Adastros swung a powerful blow at Hector.

(yep and only two of Apollonis' parents are children of Zues)

Hector ducked beneath it bringing his shield up under Adastros chin.

"He has a plan which you are interfering with." Apollonis said

"How so?" Nikon asked.

Adastros smirked taking the hit and he kicked Hector back sending him along the ground.

"What does it matter, he has sent me to bring you to him and I will not fail him."

Hector quickly got up standing ready.

"It matters because we could help each other." Nikon said.

Adastros smirked walking towards him twirling his sword.

Cyniska grabbed two glasses and crossed the room to Orion, "A toast to the losers of the race?"

Orion smiled and took the glass. "To the losers." He smiled raising his glass.

(thought up a new idea to connect Alea with perhaps Adastros, and will tell you after I go and make some lunch brb)

(They're leaving it soon anyway but Hades is largely a dark place with a river of fire, a river that makes you forget, a river of pain and suffering and a river that is rumored to make you invulnerable. A place where the heroic and valiant live, a field were those that are neither good nor evil and had little impact on the world live as little more than robots and a dungeon where the truly evil carry out thier punishments.)

"How?" Apollonis asked

Hector studied him waiting

"By working together ofcourse." Nikon said.

Adastros dashed at Hector with his god speed and slashed at him, going for his neck.

Hector barely got his sheild up to block it.

"What do you have in mind?" Apollonis asked

"Well, obviously we join against Zeus...and with Hades wide open, we can make an army of undead soldiers so large no force in Greece could stop them." Nikon said.

Adastros swept his feet out from under him knocking him over.

"Is being worried and nervous signs of weakness?" Cyniska asked quietly, "I look at my brothers and pray I had their recklessness. The ability to go out and sleep with poisonous snakes, not once caring of the risks. Stupid, actually... one must consider the risks they are undertaking."

"Even us Gods consider the pros and cons, so being worried is not a sign of weakness." Orion said.

Apollonis stood thinking it over.

Hector dropped his shield as he roled out back to his feet.
